I just love how 14 influence is ALL OVER this realm 😍. Even the Duke’s red garb is something a caster would wear 😅

I love how the crystalline dominion's flag is a call back to the 4 Crystals colors of the OG FF

I think I'm going to double my FF16 playtime just cuz I'll be pausing every new cutscene to check the ATL

You dont have to worry, the archivist NPC will save all the ATL in case you miss it. They confirmed it in yesterdays livestream

legitimately in every cutscene when any person place or thing is on screen(including ones i’ve already read about, i’ll check the lore for any updates.

I feel your pain on the PS5 front, but let’s hope the people who do have them invest more time into the ATL reads

When it comes the Eikons there’s also Leviathan the Lost who is the only mentioned once that I can remember so far

His statement is that they wanted the base game to be a complete experience, but since, according to his statement, players want to see more, they will be working on it and hopefully have something to announce soon. Considering how close to the chest they held the game's development (it was being developed for a long time before it was even announced) it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they had DLC they were working on already they just didn't announce at launch,

@@jonathansoko1085 no.... read it again then try comprehending. Also maybe go look up the interview Yoshida gave where he was specifically asked about DLC for the game, the one I found was posted three days ago.

I love how Koji Fox described the world of valisthea. It's a world in which magic literally does everything, technically the technology is extremely primitive. The people of Valisthea just use magic, need fire to smelt steel? Just use magic, need fresh water? Magic. It's honestly very refreshing as i always wondered why if you have magic in your universe wouldn't you just use it for everything.

Whether I stay away from FF16 till I play it, or make it a game I love but never played by drowning myself in the wiki, lore books and walkthroughs (as I did with many, many other games) because I can afford neither a PC nor PS5. But that’s a question irrelevant to this video. I’ve already known all of this info because I used to visit the FF16 website every morning around the time before the Ambition trailer dropped. But you turning the info into something more coherent with one another is so wonderful, and is one of the reasons why I like your lectures! Keep up the good work! P.S. I always wonder how on earth FFXIV and FFXVI crossover, and one of my pipe dreams is Valisthea will have a version somewhere in Etheirys like how there’s Dalmasca in southern Othard.

re: eikons, there actually is one more (though they don't make an appearance in the game beyond a passing mention from one character) and that is Leviathan, referred to at the time as "Leviathan the Lost" so.... DLC bait maybe?

Game's not even out and Scribe is already on the hunt Though for the ATL, you likely wont have to worry as they confirmed in the prelaunch livestream that the archivist npc will save all the ATL lore in case you missed it

No, Dion Lesage is Bahamut. The hooded young man will be some other part of Clive and part of his journey of self-acceptance necessary for controlling Ifrit, calling it now. The bottom half of his face even looks like young Clive.
