Does anyone know what Surena's bird is supposed to be?

It never occurred to me that Gobble was a turkey. I just assumed Gobble was a weird name for a humanoid butler, but obviously Gobble being a turkey makes so much more sense. Thank God for animation

I love how Brennan/Hob is represented as an albatross (I hope that's not just a seagull), a bird which Brennan has praised in the past for its efficiency in long distance flight

I love how Emily was trying to have a big reveal of not being able to fly, something she'd been hinting at at least once leading up to this, but it was overshadowed by Gobble's reaction and then never addressed again

I for the life of me cannot understand the appeal of critical role. Unfunny forced and crude jokes with no cleverness and poor comedic timing. D20 is light years ahead of anything else (naddpod excluded)

So many things, I love the peanut/pheasant gallery as birds that are there great. I love Squak pulling down a bookshelf in search of alcohol with a fully stocked bar in the background. I love Gobble being a straight up turkey with a monocle. I’m sad with where it ended because I wanted to see Gobble backing his ass up in an attempt to get away while dancing. Dare I say this is an icon and mature

This is the first time I've ever seen something be less chaotic in animated form.

I wish they finished the entire scene so we could see Gobble “THROWING ASS!!!”, as Aabria put it 🤣🤣🤣

I love the manic panic of squak just chugging alcohol and knocking shit over. This animation is so fucking good.

The way Squawk swings his drink around at 1:17 makes that line so much funnier.

I love how everyone else is represented as other birds in the nest for this. Fantastic, I loved this season so much!

The fact that the Owl from Zelda AND Hooty from the Owl House are in the background makes this one of the best things ever.

Highly suggest trying it out, a few of their campaigns are on KZread. This one is called A Court of Fey and Flowers which does have the first episode, or you can start with Fantasy High which kicked off Dimension 20. The dialogue for each one is awesome and hilarious.

​@@rufiredup90A campaign is the full storyline/a game of DnD (Dungeons and Dragons). Dimension 20 is a podcast type show where they play DnD, so each season is a campaign in this case. They do a really good job and I highly recommend you check it out.

Think of it like one single season of a TV show. It can be a long or a short a the DM (or "the guy running the game; dungeon master") wants it needs it to be to fulfill the story they want to tell. The next campaign afterwards could then the same characters or entirely new ones, though usually people usually make new characters for new campaigns. There are other definitions, such as uses in war and the like but in this context, there you go. For bonus points, a "session" is one meeting of the players to play in a campaign. You can think of it like one "episode" in a TV show series.

I have to point attention to how BEAUTIFUL and detailed the backgrounds are. Like how the arm chairs and table have wings and talon decorations, the sconce looks like a hay-stuffed nest,the wing motifs over the bar, and of course the Easter eggs sprinkled all over.

the best part is there is a clear bar in the background but Airavis still decides to knock down bookshelves to look for alcohol

The more CoFaF animations, the better. It was a truly delightful season with too many amazing moments and throughlines to easily list. This animation was perfect XD

Spotted Tusk Love on the shelf. Very nice reference.

This is an AMAZING rendition of one of the greatest moments in this campaign, and I love that the animator captured the chaos at the table by having the other players as birds in the nest! (With great character designs-I could instantly tell who was who!) Awesome work, and I hope D20 works with this animator again! EDITED TO ADD I JUST NOW NOTICED THE TINY OWL HOUSE WITH HOOTY FACE ON THE BOOKSHELF. WELL PLAYED

I just realized, there are figures of Hooty and Flapjack from The Owl House on the Bookshelf. 10/10 would recommend.

My favorite thing about this season is that while everyone else is caught up in dramas of romance and espionage and honor, the cousins are just chilling and fucking around in their mansion

No characters have ever mattered to me more than the Lords of the Wings. They are just so horney and chaotic... it's all I've ever wanted!
