@Carol, I partially disagree. The sounds of the heavenly host, who sing everyday to the Trinity, are in perfect love to the Lord. Love comes through clearly in music, specially in harmony. This man sings beautifully but he and all of us are still the product of sin, by which the blood of the Lamb cleansed us. We were loved more than what how we loved. The angelic host are angels and others that fought Lucifer in a difficult war, in Heaven. They stood firm in their love of our Creator. When they sing, all the pain, anguish and long standing Love comes through every note. We will never achieve that until the Second Coming, when Christ will give us an incorruptible body and our old spirit, equaling what the angelic host has now.

I wholeheartedly agree, Carol!

I was brought here by my dad. We're trying to repair our damaged relationship with each other by focusing on growing closer to the Lord together. We just got together for his 60th birthday and spent most of it singing along together to songs like this. You are the conduit for God's work.

He is holy and He hates sin and would not endorse all that you have enumerated. The best way to know more about him is for us to go back to His Word, the Bible, and learn what his true nature is. It is better, I believe, to learn what he says about himself, rather than believing what others make Him out to be. Thanks and take care!

Some people imagine David wrote this as a young shepherd. Maybe so. But lately I've been thinking how much sweeter this psalm is as a walk down memory lane for David. After all the hardships he's been through, he finds comfort in the arms of his heavenly Father by remembering how in his childhood God taught him how he cares for us like a shepherd. Then, in light of David's sin against Uriah, it is precious to hear David's words; "he makes me to walk in paths of righteousness" and "he restores my soul". Not just restores as far as feeling encouraged, but actually restores his soul to a place of righteousness in God's sight. Then, there's the line "he anoints my head with oil", and "he prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies", but of which are very literal in the life of David, as we look back! So whether this was David's first composition or his last, it is exceeding rich when we think of the story God wrote for David's life.

When I arranged my stepfather funeral I looked this tune up on you tube and sung it to this tune at the funeral

As the daughter of a former choir conductor this man's singing brings back such pleasant memories.. thank you Jesus.

My husband of 45 years passed away only less than 4 months ago and when planning his funeral I had to pick one more song, I opened the hymnal and found so many songs I liked, but closed the hymnal and asked my husband you have to help me, what song would you like, opened the hymnal and this is the song he picked, I listen to this so often, thank you for your beautiful voice and the comfort you bring to me

This is indeed a beautiful song and my favourite from this singer. Sorry about the death of your beloved husband. But the Bible says the dead are not conscious according to scriptures in ecclesiates and psalms.

This is found in the 1650 edition of the Scottish Metrical Psalms - if look them up on KZread or SoundCloud you will find this a beautiful and faithful translation of the book of Psalms that can be sung 👍🏼

I don't know how to thank you for your ministry! Your singing is so beautiful, it brings tears to my eyes and lifts up soul to the Lord our God and our Only Saviour Jesus Christ! I was absolutely blown away by this setting of Psalm 23. I had never heard it before. It is so incredibly beautiful!

My 6 year old particularly likes this song as she observed the dog appearing in the video

I can just see the Lord coming what a day that will be.

I love every bit of his music/lyrics. He took his time to write his songs from the Holy Bible. His songs, are a great inspiration to a lot of people round the globe and I am one of them.

Lord of Heaven, bless this vessel and continue to fill it to overflowing. God bless you, Sir. Thank you for pushing the limits and not witholding the gift you were given or using it to serve the world. My heart shatters to fragments and my spirit believes every word. The way you put it together shows God truly used you to minister to His people. Multiply this gift, Lord and cause it to grow even bigger.

Glad to hear it. Hopefully others feel the same way. Dropping the lead down an octave as I do creates a big gap between it and the alto that just wouldn’t have sounded right without something between them.

It reminds me of what happened with Peter entering the Gate Beautiful in the book of Acts and Peter said "...silver and gold have i none, but such as I have--GIVE I THEE!! In the Name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth rise, take up thy bed and walk..." and there was such an amazing PRAISE TO GOD for the work of Healing that NO ONE could speak a word against it...It wasn't that no one HATED Holy Spirit believers...it was that it was such a BEAUTIFUL ACT of Healing by JESUS CHRIST through The Holy Spirit that only a complete IDIOT would have said ANYTHING AGAINST THE BEAUTIFUL ACT!!! that is how Michael Eldridge's music comes across to me!
