Sad day when I can't pay for the long series but he only does those for members only.

You know it's a good city builder game when the cape physics are on point.

Hopefully this will be a long series because this is the perfect Tom (and Tom and Ben!) game!

Unfortunately since this game will be early access it seems to be light on content for now.

I assume Tom missed the part about bandits stealing the stuff which was why he suddenly ran out. Classic blind Tom. Can't wait to see you keep going in this as a series

The irrational pain of that church not facing both corner paths *or* being directly on the ‘town square’. Great game though, Tom, this is a much better preview than another one I saw. You going to show us Frostpunk 2 :-) The first person viewpoint function is… perfect for Tom!

To the best of my knowledge, urine was not used in medieval leather production unless they were dying the leather (it was a common bonding agent for dyes). What Tom might be thinking of is puering or bating, which is when hides are coated with bird or dog excrement as part of the leather making process. It's the step that is most often associated with the foul smell of leatherwork. I might be wrong though.

Interesting! I've also heard that tanning used to be a foul smelling occupation, and so was often placed away from residental areas. Just had a quick google and read it might be due to improper curing practises leading to the smell of rotting flesh. Makes sense considering that is exactly what it is. No idea when urine was introduced, or how often the stench spread.

As the lord, you should be able to fight in battles. That's what the lord did after all, he wasn't just a parchment shuffler.

The snow build up over time is so good. Straight roads and weird grids breaking my immersion though. Not natural at all! (unless you're a Roman)

Tom you can build things like vegetable gardens, goat pastures and chicken coops as add ons for your peasant’s homes. This gives your plebs more food and adds wealth to the town.

I saw this game and was hoping youd cover it!

Kinda hate that I wasn't able to preorder this game what 2-3 years ago(?) when I first saw it just because I hadn't found it 8 years before that or whatever but at least I get to watch Tom play it first and avoid all the noob mistakes and I'm even more excited for this than I was for Bannerlord or maybe even AC4 remastered... This game is gorgeous; that transition between "city builder" and just walking around is really well done! Kinda makes city skylines 2 look like a big ball of hot garbage (I do realized Skylines technically has a lot more going on, but still...)
