The Lootbox Raise Buckle - A Desire Driver Hacking Tool

Комедия

My cheap self has once again blessed the masses, come! In the name of Lord Ace, take my almost-acceptable bootleg toy design and spread it to the people!
Huh, apparently shorts have to be under 60 seconds, that sucks. I'm not re-editing this tho lol.

I always wanted a 3d printer to make custom buckles that let you use other rider belt accessories (providing the sound comes from them like zi-o's). But sadly no 3d printer to try it. Using the ridewatch as a template, it should be easy to make by copying the desire driver bucke back and removing all the pins underneath except the last 2 long ones; which should meak you can lock it in place without activating the driver by accident. Then on the other side using a similar method but more akin to the ziku driver and with the additional part on the inside to activate the buttons when it locks in; since it seems to activate the sound when the button at the side is pressed and held (as if it would be in the belt). Now I don't know how the rotation thing works on the ridewatch but giving the desire driver can rotate as well, it can probably work if it needs to. Sadly this is all theory as I can't afford or find room for a 3d printer, but as you can tell I spent waaaaay too much time thinking about and studying this. I want to see if it's possible to make other kamen rider gimmicks work on the desire driver and how many I can get on there. Imagine... a kamen rider belt that works with every single past rider gimmick (that has sound in the gimmick), that is the wish I'm fighting for! That and I'd probably upload the designs for free if I make them. Everyone should be allowed to enjoy it!

So you have to screw the screwdriver on the pin holder to change the pin?

hello, is it possible to have a video showing the assembly and the parts needed to assemble it in addition to the one to be printed?

Hi, all the parts aside from screws can be printed (you'll have to salvage those from some of your other KR merch if you have extras). As for assembly, I included an exploded view of the model on the Cults3D page (linked in description) with all pieces layered in the order they are attached. If that isn't enough, you can run my little assembly clip in this video at 0.25% speed to get a half-decent look at how it's built, as I'm not planning on making any further videos for this model. Hope this helps!

It"s honestly worth it. A good starter I'd recommend is the Ender-3 model, lots of guides and support available, plus it's what I print most of my stuff on.

yo love this video. could you please share the video explaining how to make your drivers louder? or just the desire driver. I am a little bit hearing impaired and a big fan of Kamen Rider so this would be really cool for me to hook up. thanks so much bro keep making videos! can't wait to see that other one just subscribed

Yeah! If the sound upgrades can help folks with impairments, I'd love to share my methods! The one in this video requires some soldering and 3D printed parts, but I do have a simpler mod I can share. I think I'll try making a short soon demonstrating it!

hi so I made this but I'm having a problem with the pins. Primarily how do you rest them? cause it doesn't look like theres something to push them back down

Answered that on Cults3D, this design doesn't have you push them down, you just swap out the pins directly. Check out my Shift Hacker video, it uses a similar pin system and shows the pins being placed.

hey what size is the screw I need? I do not want to take apart any of my buckles to get said screws

  • @multiplemeanings

That's a tricky one, since Bandai likes to use unique screws for their stuff, the exact type is near impossible to find outside of (expensive) specialty hardware websites. The screw dimensions are roughly 2mm thread diameter and 7.5mm length. Keep in mind thread counts are hard to get exactly right, but when 3d printed the threads usually don't matter too much.

Can you please hack the ziku driver from Kamen Rider Zi-O? I've been thinking about 3D printing the ridewatches to save a lot of money but no matter where I look online I can't find a hacking tool for it

didn't most of the sound came from the Ridewatches themselves? I didn't collect Zi O stuffs so I'm not sure. Just asking

@@tonythong5352 while yeah most of the sounds do come from the watch, it'll still be nice for custom ridewatches to display different rider numbers while it having it's own sounds
