I retired last year and I hiked the Long Trail this year with mg best friend Maggie. She is 45 pound hound mix. I must add that Zpack gear made my trip much more enjoyable. Having a base weight of eight pounds is awesome. I only hiked about four days before I resupplied. Thanks Zpacks for making such great light gear. For those of you planning on hiking the LT I would avoid June, but city. The fall is awesome. September into October is the best.

Excellent 3 part series! Thank you!! I hiked the lower 104 miles while hiking the AT. I hope to complete the rest of the trail late Sept. It looks a lot like S. ME. with lots of ups and downs and some spectacular views along the way.

Come to Malaysia and complete our Trans V3 trail (approx. 125 mile). With different climate, it can be bonus to test your products here. 💪 Really hope to see you guys here.

Thank you for doing a good video of The Long Trail. I live in the area and it's what I want to cut my teeth on trying my first a long hike, But there weren't many videos really showing much of the trail. Mostly just "Here are our photos of the summits and a few quick clips". I've been looking for a good Vlog of the long trail.

Any poison oak or ivy? Is there any poisonous snakes?

Poison ivy is pretty common everywhere, but its not much of an issue if you're on trail. There's only one species of rattle snake in Vermont but it's extremely rare and only in one specific area
