😭 Thank you for saying that ❤️ I'm swinging from emotion to emotion all the time, still, but I think staying stalled in grief is the last thing she would want. She would want us to celebrate liturgical seasons, as she did.

I saw Faith's announcement last night & the book is on its way to me. 🤓 Looking forward to it. ❤ Enjoy the C.S. Lewis, My dear Wormwood! 😆 Sorry, couldn't resist. 😉 As far as Jenny goes, I probably would have never read The Divine Comedy if it wasn't for her love and enthusiasm for it. She and Tom (Tom LA Books) helped me *so* much before I _took it on._ It made such an impact on me, I think aobut it at least once a day. 🤗

Screwtape has an audiobook so you can immersion read if you want to. I don’t always agree with what I believe Chesterton is communicating either, however I’m not always sure I completely understand him😅! I do love the way he makes me think and his thoughts coming at something from odd angles. 🤗 I’m reading Dorothy Day with all of you!

I'm interested in reading this. I don't know much about Dorothy Day except she was mentioned in an interview I saw with Martin Sheen where he was talking about his Catholic activism and he said 'But remember I came from the Church of Dorothy Day and Daniel Berrigan." So, I googled both of them and wanted to find out more. That Freud-Lewis book has been turned into a film that's coming out soon with Anthony Hopkins as Freud, which means Hopkins will have played both Lewis and Freud. It's called 'Freud's Last Session'. I've got a handful of older Christian reads on my TBR that I bought recently in a burst: Dark Night of the Soul by St John of the Cross, The Imitation of Christ by Thomas a Kempis, Revelations of Divine Love by Julian of Norwich, and The Way of Perfection by Theresa of Avila. I picked them up after I read The Collected Works of Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz.

That's a really good question. Faith mentioned in her announcement that Day became disillusioned with the movement at one point, but I think she carried on with her work despite that.
