When I was little, my grandma who was a lifelong pianist bought a Little Mermaid piano book so she could play this for me. She died this year a few days before my birthday. 🥲 RIP grandma, thanks for being a part of my world.

Those little gestures between phrases, the rolling of the wrist, the slight restraint. It all adds to the expressive techniques and EMOTION that make this so fucking good

The ending in A-flat Major was truly breathtaking! I am astounded by such imaginativity!

@@jeremyngpiano yeah. Tbh his arrangement are not easy. I can usually play his arrangement decent with practice but when it comes to camera, I get nervous and my brain forget tons of notes lol

When I was a little girl, I loved this song. I didn't just love the words but I thought about them and I truly felt like Ariel except I wanted what she had! To be a person but not have a voice sounded pretty awful to me! It did teach me to learn to appreciate and value what I do have and not always want more. I look forward to learning to play this piece of music
