@@annak.5477 Even so, Dramas/novels, are supposed to reflect how people interact with one another, and their feelings. Even if not based in a true story, it has to be realist with normal human reations, to gain some credabitly.

Терпеть не могу этих принцев и императоров, которые имеют по 100 жён, наложниц и кучу детей, как быки производители, жене говорит, люблю, не могу без тебя, а сам везде преуспел, прикрываются своим титулом, а сами распущенные хуже некуда, жаль жену, ей нужен муж, что бы он и душой и телом принадлежал только ей, а ни такой мачо император. Противно 👎

I like this series and enjoyed watching it, but I found the character of Zhenzhu to be very childish and selfish in her love for him. She knows what's best for people, everyone else's thoughts/feelings be d'd. She takes all choice away from him and decides what is best for him then she's planning to wait Years before letting him know she died, there are tons of examples of her selfishness but I'm only citing this one, the fact that he let her was not lost on me either. Chinese dramas do love to show a side of humanity that we would probably prefer to keep hidden, they love the saddest or most bittersweet endings and they do them so well. That's probably why I love watching them.

Man this is a bad movie.
