I disagree, I already have a hard time thinking of live action movies as actual stories instead of people acting on screen. Ruins the immersion honestly. Giving animated movies the same stories makes it worse.

The thing i really like about this feature is that most if not all these bloopers are in fact actual goofs and flubbed takes of lines the actors and actresses made in the voice recording sessions during the film's production, and as such makes the concept of putting them together with newly created animation of the characters as an extra even more awesome. In particular i like Mufasa's bits as it was clearly James Earl Jones doing a variety of warm ups or rehearsal takes of his voice. Shenzi's bit is pretty funny too, because Whoopi Goldberg laughing hysterically like that sounds so her.
