Mufasa was a caring and loving father and show very sympathy towards Zazu. He did even loved his brother so much and didn't expect a thing like that of him. When he'll appear in his son's vision will run wild him to discover himself.

Mufasa wasn’t perfect, though. He didn’t do enough to teach Simba not to abuse his privilege as the future king, which is partly why young Simba kept bragging and gloating about how he was going to be king one day, even rubbing it in his uncle Scar’s face. (“I’m going to be king of Pride Rock! I’ll have to give YOU orders…tell YOU what to do!” *UGH…BARF* 🤮

Both scenes were so sad. I've lost my father, so it hits me even harder than those who haven't lost a parent.

That was so sad seeing Mufasa like that I cry every time I watch this movie I'm just glad Simba grew up and got revenge for Mufusa.

Jeremy Irons too quickly? Ha! No. If anything it just kept going on and on in the remake. There wasn’t a pause to give weight to the remake’s words.

The remake didn’t hit me as hard as it did in the original. In the original, Simbas cries for help and his voice cracking up a bit just broke my heart. Whereas in the remake, I felt a bit sad, but not as sad as I felt in the original. The remake was absolutely awful and I probably won’t watch it again. The kid voice acting in the remake made his lines sound so forced and like he didn’t really mean them

Simba lost his father

What if Scar told Simba the truth that he was the one who killed Mufasa right away? Scar says Simba your father has died. I was the one who killed your father. And I don’t have any regrets for that. The king is dead and I’m really happy about it.

The 1994 version is much more sadder and more emotional and Simba was crying while in the 2019 remake it wasn't that sad it was awful because Simba had no emotion in his eye.

there is a unique, emotional, epic, and touching classic that fixes the majority of this movies mistakes before they even existed. And it did so by being new and innovative, as apposed to copying whats new and innovative, and even then only doing so because it was proven to have worked in the past.

I liked both movies. The difference in facial expressions didn't bother me at all because I understand the limitations of real animals. Yes, they can still feel emotions, and they can even do some facial expressions to a certain degree but /not at the same exact level which humans can./ People can't seem to comprehend that and that's what annoys me the most when people criticize the remake. It's like they've never watched a BBC documentary before. If Disney had tried to mimic the anthropomorphism in the remake, it would have looked very unnatural. You don't technically hate the limited facial expressions, what you actually hate is that the animals aren't more human-like.
