So funny I’m 69 now and we used to watch when I was a kid my Dad came from India and my mum from England we did not know what racism was, to look back at this now 😅😅

I need to dig out the Love Thy Neighbour film. Never seen it and can’t imagine how this could be a film.

Eddie and Joan Booth, a white couple, live next door to Bill and Barbie Reynolds, who are black. Although Joan and Barbie are best friends, Bill and Eddie are complete opposites. Without their husbands' knowledge, Joan and Barbie enter a "Love Thy Neighbour" competition to win a cruise, but must contend with the problem of their antagonistic husbands. To add to the problems, Joan's mother-in-law is coming to stay, and Barbie's father-in-law is coming from Trinidad.

The movie is about Eddie goes on strike but bill doesn't want to so he form's his own union for black only and Eddie is always trying to stop bill getting into work but bill always finds away it's a great movie plus Eddie mums turns up and bill's dad they end up getting on really well I will say no more

I loved that show the coloured chap was my fave. I might b wrong but he was in “The thin blue line” he was hilarious in that.to 😂

Thanks for this. Love thy neighbor is one of the best British sitcoms ever written. I have a beautiful Filipino wife so I'm not racist. Jack Smethurst and Randolf Walker were very close friends off screen. Can you do the episode Ghosts ?

a man like Eddie would be a coward, and wouldn't threaten so many, but this is funny.

Love how you watch these with an open mind and see it for what it is,so refeshing in these woke days where everyone has an agenda,thanks for the nostalgia shady.

This lovely guy has been watching these episodes and thinks they're hilarious. They are, especially because Bill always has the last laugh on Eddie. Back in the day it was a popular comedy with all. Don't make this about race please. They both call each other insulting names,, it's 2 sided and are actually friends. And the wives xx
