As someone who played well with a mouse that weighed like 140 g for like 4 years, getting a 60 gram mouse made a huge difference. But only for maybe a few months. Then I got used to the weight and played about as well as I did before. I think that's why people chase lighter mice. Switching to a lighter mouse feels great for many, but like he says: "you get used to it". I doubt he is playing with the 20 gram mouse tho, it's just as a joke for the video. There’s a reason a lot of gaming mice come with removable weights. The weight and design of the mouse is heavily dependent on what you’re using it for, and what your preferences are. Lighter mice aren’t always a good thing, tracking and micro adjustments are often aided by having a heavier mouse due to higher friction leading to smaller movements being easier to do. Lighter mice exceed at flicking and other large movements, so RTS and other top down games often benefit from lighter mice, as they cause less exhaustion in the arm as well as being easier to move from one side of the screen to the other. So, if you like lighter mice in general, that’s your preference, but I would be careful to generalize mice that are heavier as being worse at all tasks
