That’s pretty much most military dogs. They look like they will rip your throat out, then devour your corpse. But as long as you are not an “enemy” they are some of the sweetest buddies around. (That said. They could do some times have ptsd, and get a bit… jumpy. But they are sweet hearts 80% of the times)

it kinda hurts my soul to know that brutus was a full grown dog even retired from military duty which would put him at least at 8 years old, given his breed assuming that he doesn't develop hip dysplasia (which in a german shepherd is almost a certainty) that gives him 4-5 good years, if he does develop hip dysplasia he only has about 2 years of good activity before becoming less and less active due to hip pains, cats on the other hand have a life expectancy of at least 15 years old, and it's fairly common to see 20 year old cats so pixie will greatly outlive brutus.

This needs to be adapted into a kids cartoon. Definitely has an 80s feel to it.

My theory When Pixie is a young adult Brutushas fallen sick and some weeks later he dies, Pixie becomes depressed. Some years later max buys a 1 month old male puppy and he reminds Pixie of Brutus so like the adventures of Pixie and Brutus

After a long year, this channel is still alive 👍

Part of me wants to see the artist showcase these characters behaving a bit more like animals, like how Pixie did in the beginning. Maybe even showcase Brutus grooming Pixie as a kitten, like how parent animals using do for their babies. Maybe even showcase the cat characters doing with cat poses, like the loaf, or when they stretch out really long, or when they're lying down on something weirdly.

Pixie is so pretty, but at heart she's still a kitten!

The fact that Brutus says 1500 hours and not 15:00 and wears his watch upsidie down (atleast looks like that?) shows a lot about how he still kept some stuff from the military as for example wearing your watch like that is not only a faster way to check time but also prevents reflection from the sun bouncing off the glass so it dosent reveal your position to snipers or enemy infantry.
