To be fair with Death Note is that most things that can be talked about, have already been talked about. That's why you don't see much videos on the series itself anymore. Of course you see the videos comparing Light and L to other fictional universes a lot (Light and L in squid game, batman solving the Kira case, etc) but that's about it.

I still like the end scene of light in the anime. At the beginning it's said, that shinigami aren't in hell or in heaven, and light laying in the middle of the stairs, is a nice symbolic ending to the series.

Random thought but it really bothers me that by Light having people like Ray Penbar use the Death Note, they can neither go to heaven or hell. So he screws them twice over.

Light was selfish and stupid. You create change by doing good without anyone knowing what you did, a true hero works from the shadows, getting no recognition or admiration for his work. And permanent change of course, that stays after you die.

I believe Light seeing L before he died symbolized that he realized that he was never right, and that L was was truly right; Light was a criminal.

I really dislike how Light lost due to the incompetence of others.

to be honest I think it wasn't light who was psychotic it was just the power that was given that made him evil, when he lost his memories of the death note L tried to get him to manipulate Misa so they could figure out who Kira was but Light said it went against his beliefs. But when he regained his memories he had no problems manipulating people. I think before Light found the death note he was good person with morals but the death note just destroyed that.

The only tragedy is Misa blindly followed a man who didn’t love her, a dad who died believing his son is not a killer, and now his mom and sister will have to change their names to avoid repercussions

bruh in the movie, ryuk instead helped light when he was in a devastating situation but something was wrong with that scene...people can only see the shinigami if they have touched the death note but for some reason..the FBI agents were able to see what he was doing!

6:40 I think light actually told him to write down in the paper the name of the person in charge of all the agents and then pember recieved the documento with all the names and faces of the fbi forces in japan

11:53 ``Light managing to evade L`s phsycological traps`` He didn`t L actually caught him . Light told L to ask him something that only the real Kira would know and L showed him the hidden messages Kira sent him . Light thought that L was being stupid and solved all the messages that he has sent to L , however L told him that he was wrong and that there is a 4th letter if Light assumed that there were 4 letters he would have passed but he didn`t because he already knew that the letters were 3 and not 4 .

No most people would come to the conclusion that there were only three notes since that's all they were given to exam, Ls goal was to see what Lights reaction would be after telling light that there was four notes, and Light passed this test.

@@Rise6474 Yes but you see that was the trick only the real Kira would know that there were 3 letters and you can see his reaction when L tried to test him with these letters he didn`t even consider the possibilty of there being a 4th letter as you say ``he may have passed the test`` however i think that this made him even more suspicious.

@@redphantom5197 I agree but at this point L was almost certain light was kira to begin with, that "5%" chance bullshit L made up was a lie. Look at the episode where L put cameras in Light's house. L had a public announcement saying 1500 investigators were coming to Japan. Light then smiled and loudly said "the fbi sure is stupid there's no point in making this announcement, even the investigators who were secretly brought in were killed by kira, why would this be any different, if you ask me, this is just a plot to get kira to reveal himself, I wouldn't be surprised if Kira sees right through this." L watching on the camera laughed. The guy who shows no emotions laughed. So Mr. Yagami wouldn't find out why he laughed, and to prevent Yagami from suspeculating, he said it was because light is clever, but the real reason he laughed was because he figured out Light was Kira. He knew kira was somewhat smart and who had a ego to begin with, and he seen Light mock the fact that the FBI were coming into Japan, further more Light said that quote loudly on purpose so whoever was watching over cameras, (which he obviously knew they were there) could hear. Light wanted L to know hes not going to fall for something that stupid, and L figured out that light knew he was watching him, which made L almost certain Light was Kira.
