Wow, so Abu Huraira knew the prophet 2/4 years and in this years he had to look after his mother and he an illiterate learned 6000 Hadith by heart 😳. That’s really a lot. So the prophet probably did nothing else in his few last years but teaching Hadith to Abu Hurraira day and night. And some of his Hadith are really unbelievable like this one, please explain: 108) Narrated AbU Huraira that Allah's Messenger said: Once the Death Angel came to Mflsa (Moses) and said to him: Respond to the order of your Lord. The Prophet said: Musa hit the angel over his eye and gouged it out. The Prophet added: The angel returned to Allah, the Exalted, and complained: You sent me to a slave who does not want death. Rather he has ganged out my eye. The Prophet said: Allah set the angels eye right and said: Go back to My slave and ask him: Do you want life? If you wish to live long, put your hand on the back of an ox. The more hair you grasp in your hand, the more years you will live. At this Musa said: Then what will happen? The angel said: Then you have to die. Musasaid: It is better to die now. Then he invoked Allah: 0 Lord! Let me die near the Holy Land (palestine) by a shot of a stone. (This Hadith is sound and reported by Muslim).

I did my own research. He only knew the Prophet for 2 years and only really saw him during food time. He avoided all wars. Umar beat him and banished him. Aisha didn't believe him. He was known to lie about the Prophet because he admitted to lying about the Prophet. He forged Hadith ALL THE TIME. He narrated 5300 Hadith having spent ONLY TWO YEARS ON AND OFF in the Prophet's presence but Abu Bakr only narrated a little over 100. One of the Caliphs said that they had never met someone who lied about the Prophet much as Abu Huraira. Come on, his REAL NAME isn't even known!!!

It is of utmost importance to expose the facts relevant to Abu Hurayra so that Muslims may be cautious whenever they come across a tradition narrated by him or attributed to him which, all in all, reached the astronomical figure of 5,374 “traditions,” that is, more “traditions” than anyone else in history... This figure is questioned not only due to the short period during which he saw the Prophet (ﺹ) but also due to the fact that Abu Hurayra did not know how to read and write, and although he spent no more than three years in the company of the Prophet (ﺹ), that is to say, on and off, whenever such company did not involve any danger to his life. This fact is supported by the renown compiler al-Bukhari, the most famous compiler of hadīth, who endorses no more than 93 of them! Muslim, another compiler of hadīth, endorses only 89 of Abū Hurayray’s alleged ahādīth. The reader can easily conclude that this figure of 5,374 “traditions” is quite unrealistic when he comes to know that Abu Bakr, friend of the Prophet (ﺹ) and one of the earliest converts to Islam, narrated no more than 142 traditions. ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab narrated no more than 537 traditions. ‘Othman ibn ‘Affan narrated no more than 146 traditions. And ‘Ali (ع), the man who was raised by the Prophet (ﺹ) and who was always with him, following him like his shadow for 32 years, and whose memory and integrity nobody at all can question, narrated no more than 586 traditions. All these men, especially ‘Ali (ﻉ) and Abu Bakr, spent many years of their lives in the company of the Prophet (ﺹ) and did not hide when their lives were in jeopardy, as is the case with Abu Hurayra, yet they did not narrate except a tiny fraction of the number of “traditions,” many of which cannot be accepted by logic and commonsense, narrated by or attributed to Abu Hurayra.

Abu huraira (R.A) made a dua for his extreme memorising power and prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) said Amin And during those times even Abu bakr (R.A) and Umar (R.A) told people to go to him when it comes to matter of knowledge or so something..... So who r u to distinguish between sahabas...when even the sahabas respected one another's and didn't distinguished between themselves... Go get some education dude...

Abdul Hussain Sharufuddin Musawi describes in his book "ABU HURAIRA - Cause and Effect of His Traditions" the contradictions of Abu Huraira and concludes that only people without understanding can believe this man. Bukhary reports in his Sahih work, Volume 2, page 29, through a chain of narrators that ends at Abu Huraira, who said: The Prophet of God gave me Zakat from Ramadan (meaning Zakat-ul-Fitr) so that I can guard the donation . A man came and started stealing some groceries. I grabbed him and said, “By God, I'll drag you to the Prophet of God.” The man said, “I am needy, and since I have a family, my need is very great.” So I let him go. The next morning the Prophet asked me: “Abu Huraira, what did the man you caught yesterday do?” I said: “O Prophet of God, he complained of great hardship and he had a family; so I had pity on him and let him go. ”The Holy Prophet said,“ He lied to you and he will come again. ”So I watched again if he came. The man came and started stealing groceries. I grabbed him and said, “By God, I definitely want to drag you to the prophet of God.” He said, “I am needy, and since I have a family, my need is great.” So I let him go. The next morning the Holy Prophet asked me: “What did the man you caught yesterday do?” “O Prophet of God, he complained of great hardship and he had a family; so I had pity on him and let him go. ”The Holy Prophet said,“ He lied to you and he will come again. ”So again I watched to see if he came back for the third time. He came and started stealing groceries. I grabbed him and said: “By God, I definitely want to drag you to the prophet of God.” The man pleaded: “Let me go, I will teach you what is useful to you with God. When you go to bed you should recite the Quranic verse "Kursi". As long as you are in bed, God will protect you, and Satan will not approach you until morning. ”Then I let him go. When it was morning, the Prophet of God said to me, “What did he do that you caught yesterday?” I told him the whole story. Then the Prophet said, "Do you know who has spoken to you for the past three nights?" I said, "No." The Holy Prophet said, "It was Satan the Devil." Musawi remarks about this hadith that it can only be believed by foolish people. Because here Abu Huraira has spun a story together that exposes him himself as he believes the Prophet Mohammad less than a thief. For, since Abu Hurairah showed compassion for the thief, he believed the thief and did not believe the prophet, who told him three times that the thief was a liar. History clearly shows that Abu Huraira swore in the name of God to drag the thief to the Prophet. The oath was not fulfilled, but broken not just once, but three times. It appears that breaking the oath according to Abu Huraira's conduct is a righteous quality of character. It becomes even more absurd when Satan is chosen to preach sacred teachings. Let the devil teach Abu Huraira something so that he will not be "held" as if the devil could be held physically! Should such a hadith be believed by people with understanding, then we can only take refuge in God from so much poverty of knowledge.

But when u look into the history, it seems controversial. 1. He accepted isalm after Judaism just 3 years before departure of prophet from this world. And he narrated 5500 hadiths and those who were even closer to rasool allah saw had not more than 100 and hazrat ali who started living from his early childhood with prophet Mohammed and bibi khadija has hardly 30 hadiths on his credit. 2. Hazrat umar farooq lashed him for narrating fabricated hadiths in his time. And the caliph said very harsh words to him. Even hazrat aayesha would condemn him for faking and fabricating hadiths. I wonder how and why Muslims took so many hadiths from a dubious and controversial personality.

Along with the Wahabi prophet Bukhary, Abu Huairi is considered to be the greatest adulterer of Islam. A wife says, 'You should either provide me with food or divorce me.' A slave says, 'Give me food and enjoy my service." A son says, "Give me food; to whom do you leave me?" The people said, "O Abu Huraira! Did you hear that from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ?" Brother, Hadith are collection of prophet saying and teaching, which are collected by human endeavour. Hadith been officially collected and codify in books approximately 270 years(9th Century), after prophet pass way. While collecting the hadith, best effort and even special hadith collection science been applied to make sure the collection been as authentic as possible. But don't forget, we are human and there is always chance of human error. You can't say all hadith are 100% accurate. my comment on Abu Hurraira(R) is based on Islamic history (Read History of Tabari) and this following hadith Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Are you not *surprised at AbuHurayrah?* He came and sat beside my apartment, and began to narrate traditions from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) making me hear them. I was saying supererogatory prayer. He got up (and went away) before I finished my prayer. Had I found him, I would have replied to him. *The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not narrate traditions quickly one after another as you narrate quickly.* _by reading this, it's clear that Umml Muminin Aisha, didn't approved what AbuHurayrah said, that's why she wanted to correct him, but he already left_ Reference : Sunan Abi Dawud 3655 In-book reference : Book 26, Hadith 15 English translation : Book 25, Hadith 3647 link: sunnah.com/abudawud/26/15

@sami abdul The first hadith you mentioned (Sahih al-Bukhari 5355 In-book reference Book 69, Hadith 5) has two parts in it. First one being : *"The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'The best alms is that which is given when one is rich, and a giving hand is better than a taking one, and you should start first to support your dependents.'* And the hadith continues with Abu Hurairah (ra) saying (not the prophet SAW) : *"A wife says, 'You should either provide me with food or divorce me.' A slave says, 'Give me food and enjoy my service." A son says, "Give me food; to whom do you leave me?" The people said, "O Abu Huraira! Did you hear that from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ?" He said, "No, it is from my own self."* (source): sunnah.com/bukhari/69/5 So when he said "No, it is from my own self" Its referring to the 2nd part which was indeed from himself and is NOT a part of what the prophet (SAW) said. The above is further confirmed *by literally the very next hadith* to the one mentioned above. *This one is narrated from a different chain and they didn't include the 2nd part as the narrators of the hadith above did, since it was not part of what the prophet (SAW) had said.* Narrated Abu Huraira: *Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The best alms is that which you give when you are rich, and you should start first to support your dependants."* (source): sunnah.com/bukhari/69/6 So you can clearly see that Abu hurairah (ra) in no way had narrated fabricated hadith but rather it was a misunderstanding. Besides logically if he truly had falsely added to the hadith he wouldn't say "The prophet said xyz" and then admit that they i said it from themselves. Specially at that time since that would probably get them killed or be known as a liar forever. When they asked abu hurairah if he heard that from the messenger (SAW) this indicates that the ones who heard the hadith had a doubt if the 2nd part was from him or from the prophet (SAW) but was later clarified after he had replied. *And Allah knows best what is true regarding what i have explained*

@sami abdul Regarding the explanation of the following hadith in your 2nd comment: *Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: "Are you not surprised at AbuHurayrah? He came and sat beside my apartment, and began to narrate traditions from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) making me hear them. I was saying supererogatory prayer. He got up (and went away) before I finished my prayer. Had I found him, I would have replied to him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not narrate traditions quickly one after another as you narrate quickly."* Source: sunnah.com/abudawud/26/15 *You said:* "by reading this, it's clear that Umml Muminin Aisha, didn't approved what AbuHurayrah said, that's why she wanted to correct him, but he already left" How does this even slightly indicate that she (ra) didn't approve of what abu hurairah (ra) had said!? All aisha (ra) had said was she (ra) would have told him that he narrated the traditions too quickly. How can you ever interpret that this means Aisha (ra) didn't approve of what abu hurairah (ra) had said??? *THE HADITH JUST BEFORE THE ONE ABOVE GIVES MORE CONTEXT* *`Urwah said:* *Abu Hurairah sat beside the apartment of `A’ishah while she was praying. He then began to say: Listen, O lady of the apartment, saying it twice (in quick succession). When she finished her prayer, she said: Are you not surprised at him and the way he narrates traditions from the Apostle of the Allah (ﷺ). When the Apostle of the Allah (ﷺ) gave a talk, a man could count his words if he wished to count.* Source: sunnah.com/abudawud/26/14 *This clearly shows the only issue was that Abu hurairah (ra) talks too fast.* The only conclusion i can think of personally is: A) She (ra) was surprised at how fast abu hurairah (ra) could narrate the traditions compared to The prophet. (this could be interpreted as a compliment) B) She (ra) wanted to advise abu hurairah (ra) that he narrates traditions too quickly and he (ra) should slow down as the prophet (saw) didnt narrate in the quick manner that abu hurairah (ra) had narrated. (as the when the prophet (saw) would narrate you could count his words as he (saw) didn't narrate as fast as Abu huraira (ra) had done.) B is more likely to be interpretation in my opinion. Again i fail to understand how you had concluded Aisha (ra) disapproved of Abu hurairah (ra). Perhaps you could explain and correct me if i have been mistaken. May Allah (swt) guide us all. And Allah (swt) knows best what is right and what is wrong
