The life of a Norwegian author (living abroad, learning a new language, building a character...)

Today I'm talking with Kaja Kvernbakken about many different topics such as why she comes from Bergen but speaks as if she came from Oslo, the difference between the school system in France and in Norway, how translating texts work, or even how to build a character when you write a book.
Kaja is a Norwegian writer that has giving out 2 books, and this interview, you get to know her a bit better.

This was really fun and cozy! I found it very useful, personally, to drop the speed to 0,75x :) Much easier for my slow Finnish brain to keep up with fast Norwegian :D

I think you mistranslated "oppegående". It does not mean "upbeat" as you wrote in the subtitles, but rather "intelligent" or "mentally adequate".
