Same as I write this. SLY is alive and well and living in Oakland. I know what they meant. The man, the myth, the legend. Drugs.. But he's the coolest man ever. Everyone died. Brian Jones, Prince, Hendrix, Morrison. He's the coolest man ever still alive Yes he's a Rock, R&B, Soul, Funk God.

How could you forget Sly's riot in Grant Park, Chicago? It was quite the fabulous riot for a no show!
Saw him in concert in Ames, Iowa in 1969. He was pretty high and that damaged the show, but Mason Profit picked up the slack.
it seems unlikely that he and his brother began their separate bands in 1996 (~6:32) as both you narration and visual say. 1966 sounds more likely.

Sly has been waiting for "the end" for over 80yrs, and is still waiting, just like the rest of us!! What a smelly piece of trash!
Sly did not start his band in 1996, get the facts right. There is a lot of info missing and inaccurate.
U treated Black Panther Party as a gangsters and just overlooked the political/social background off 'There's a Riot Goin' On' .

How can you say that it'd be very interesting to know at what name would he be going under?.. I hope he's not at home wasting away quite a talented musician has made a big mark on the world and still will. If anybody knows for sure I'd love to know because if he has passed I will surely say a prayer❤❤❤
