Please note in chapter 4. That it is 1882 not 1982 when Sagrada Familia is initiated. Gaudi began work in the 19th century, the 1800's.

Thank you so much for making this video, I enjoyed it a lot. Just visited Sagrada Familia, I was so touched by it's beauty and the story, I cried. Sad and tragic story of a genius man.

The moral Lesson here is that don't ever underestimate small item projects because sometimes the breakthrough of your career will begin there. Just like Gaudi his breakthrough in Architecture began from a cabinet. Thanks for these documentaries. Shout out to you from Young Architect from the Philippines

Just visited Sagrada Familia a few weeks ago after having been an student of art and architecture for 40 years. His brilliance was absolutely breathtaking. The interior is magnificent. Please go and see and feel it for yourself!!

Only thing better than this thorough documentary is going to Barcelona and seeing for yourself. My visit in 2019 is etched in my mind forever. One note for edit is 1882 and 1883 is when La Sagrada Familia origins. Video states 1982-83.

*When I was 17 I picked up a discount cassette tape by Alan Parsons Project called"Gaudi."* *The song "La Sagrada Familia," was so powerful and the whole album was enlightening.* *He became my favorite Architect.* *My son's marching band planned a trip to Barcelona and I was able to go.* *After 30 years of first hearing that song about Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia, in 2017 I listened to that very song as I entered the cathedral; it was magical.*

Nice that you went to sagrada familia. I wish i could go there. If i went there, i would cry becuase he is my favorite architect and my inspiration to become an Architecture.

This documentary was incredible. I am going to Barcelona today and this gave me an incredible perspective. Incredible truly !

Great video. Just back from Barcelona and developed a fascination with this remarkable man and his inspired work. Please note that at 20:02 there is an errant reference, “In the year 1982 Saint Joseph Association had acquired a complete block in Barcelona.” I assume you meant 1882.

Antoni gaudi is my favorite architect

How can Antoni Gaudi have started to work on the biggest project in his life in 1983? He died in 1926! Probably a typo which is a minor detail This documentary in itself is a piece of art. A wonderful way to embed well-researched content into perfectly selected video clips. the combined effect is astonishing and gives the viewers an idea of that time in history in architector in general and "art" in particular.

This is the best documentary of late Architect Antoni Gaudi I've watched so far. My heart aches, I cried, I was inspired, I feel that this documentary made me admire him so much! Thank you BlessedArch for this great video. God bless you more!

The sharp angular figures shown in the Sagrada Familia are not Gaudí designed. They are part of the side of the cathedral built after his death. I met the sculptor as he worked in the '90s.

i was litreally crying after this video this gr8 architect was having such big griefs and sorrows in life though he worked 😭,and students like me who gets redo for 2 sheets are blaming teachers 😭😥😞.its like redoing sheet is biggest sorrow for us ....

Nice, I first learned about him from a cartoon called The Triplets from years ago

When they said that Sagrada Familia will be finished in 2026, this means 100 years after his death, not 150.

Words are few to express

Wonderful documentary on this superhuman architect. The dates and times came across quite erratic when I had closed captioning on. I wished some of it was true. Like having the master himself with us these past several years.

If Antoni Gaudi have a girlfriend he wouldnt built this works. God has a purpose for him but he died in a tragic way.

Wonderful documentary. One note, however: please check the dates mentioned. I identified some errors such as 1986 rather than 1886 and 2026 being the 150th anniversary of his death rather than the correct 100th anniversary.
