@@llavero5 more than fast enough. The problem is newer cars are faster so this seems slow. But it has the same hp and performance as a ferrari f430. And u can have plenty of fun in a 480hp car. Fun isnt just racing side by side.

I had this car before the R8. I loved it. White with the same exact interior as this one. I just wanted a bit more muscle. The LC feels really luxurious though and is super comfortable. Got about the same amount of looks as the R8

If this car came in an LCF version with a V10 or 12, they got rid of that crap touchpad and put some ambient lighting in it, the car would be practically perfect.

I dont understand how you want more power. I can beat scatpacks, gt's, ss, f types, base 911, wrx, type r, golf r... i know I'm missing a few but all street racing, and one cop who tried to pull me over. I get the paper stats indicate its "slow" however in the real world that seems to be more than enough to topple 90% of drivers out there. Ive made Z06's and GTS sweat. I mean what do you want? You wanna flat out roast them? I do that on a Ducati V4S w/ my vmax 200+. I track and street race, and the LC does it all. Ive driven the current base 911 vs the DHP LC and i can say with honesty its on par. Any Porsche person is just leaning on brand. Sure you can tart up a 911 but that's not the point. I don't get it.

Love the R8 and seriously considered one. However, the running costs scared the crap out of me! The LC on the other hand is pretty bulletproof. In the UK, if you use Lexus for services, Lexus will renew the warranty yearly (for upto 10 years of age / 100k miles). Looks wise, you can't go anywhere in the LC without getting attention / positive comments

Wow, a hidden gem of a car. It looks so modern and stylish and different to anything i’ve ever seen.

Its design is so good that deserve to stay in production for 20 years

Afraid not! Lexus barley sells over 1,500 LC6500 annually in the USA; in 2023 only 1,761 LC500s were sold in the USA, so its a money loser for Lexus and its future replacement in 2026 may not sell much better. Lexus needs to product a completely new GT that hits a home-run out of the park.

Those up and down shifts are phenomenal!

In Australia in the 70s and 80s the lovers of V8 GM Commodores and V8 Ford Falcons used to say there’s nothing like the sound of a V8 and this 5L V8 is 100% exactly why there’s nothing like the sound of a V8. It does all V8s super proud.

I rented an RCF for a week down in Phoenix earlier this year. I loved my Challenger TA 392 because of the comfort, Hemi and styling. I fell in love with the RCF for similar reasons and that engine is just amazing. After that week I researched more into Lexus sport coupes and I’m convinced the LC500 would be the perfect fit for me. Yeah there are faster offerings but the visceral experience you get with that 5 liter V8 is second to none. Not to mention the comfort and quality of Lexus. Then add the styling and back road performance. It all just makes it the perfect muscle car in my opinion.

just get a track edition RCF for the same price. It’s faster and like 500 pounds lighter. It should come with a titanium exhaust if you are concerned about the sound.

I worked for Lexus for a minute and loved when these would come in. They look and sound so good in person. I’ve also seen a couple out on the road, and it’s one of those cars that, as good as it looks just sitting still, it looks even better in motion.

The first time I saw one years ago, it was black and looked so sleek. I had my windows open and heard it pull away from a light, and I had to look again. "Was that a Lexus??"

Saw one of these parked in person, same color and everything and I couldn't keep my eyes off it. It was absolutely gorgeous and had such a presence in the street. An absolutely masterpiece of engineering

Not even close to 3 sec 0-60. Lol more like barely beating 5 . But it is funnn. I have the same color and spec literally and shopped this car before i purchased mine . It’s sick !

I am the proud owner of a ‘23 LC500 convertible. Beautiful exterior, stunningly comfortable interior and an exhaust note that just sings. Drive one , you will buy one. Plenty of power and just enough Japanese quirks to make it unique 🏖️

What other. GT vehicles did you test drive before the purchase of the LC500? Please say that you tried several other brands!

I put the Armytrix exhaust on mine. With valves closed it sounds 100% stock, but when you open those valves this V8 sounds like it came straight from hell. Absolutely love this car to death, definitely the start of my collection!

Pulled up beside a LC500 the other day and holy. I used to like the nsx but my mind has changed now

First of all, Lexus never said this car goes from 0-60 in 3 seconds. Second of all, the TC and MODE buttons are not from a Corolla but Lexus models only.

I think is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

Finally some Lexus V8 action! If you can get your hands on a RC F, GS F, IS F or even the IS500 that’d be great. Yes I know they all have the same engine but I feel as though they each have their own personality. I’ve only owned the RC F and sometimes think about the LC500 but I feel as though I’d prefer the RC F more.

I had an IS-F and an RC-F - both great cars. Now have an LC500. The LC, as you would expect isn't any faster, but the quality of the induction and the exhaust are on a different level. I'd go as far as saying the noise is exotic, not muscle car. Driving an LC is a special ocassion thing

This sounds like a really fun car to drive. Also, since it's basically a very upscale Toyota, reliability should be bulletproof. This, may well be the ultimate GT car, for a lot of people. Thanks for an excellent review.

FYI, Lexus actually states 0-60 time of.4.4 sec in their brochure, not 3 seconds.

IMO...best all around car. Styling...sound...performance...build quality. Nowadays everyone wants the most power and speed. That doesn't carry over to a good driving car.

My favourite car is the 812 superfast from ferrari and the LC 500 is my number 2. To make a car competing with Bentley, Aston Martin, ferrari, 8 series, S Class coupe and beating almost all those cars in that category is phenomenally impressive. To think that design is 10 years old as of 2023. When reviewers say is well built, comfortable, precise, well balanced, outstanding V8... THEY ARE TALKING ABSOLUTE SENSE!!! what a car.. What a masterpiece 😊

Watched many review videos. One thing i notice that reviewers feel pure pleasure when drive and hard accelerating. Their vocal tone face reaction proving this is definitely happiness

Im not a Two Seater or Sports Car kind of guy, but If I had to get one, THIS would definitely be at the top of the list. The interior is as nice as a Luxury Car interior.

It's not poor mans LFA. It's modern day Supra. This is exactly was Supra was with mk4, expensive, exclusive looking and overengineered. This is the actual successor and not the BMW Zupra

He does need to get the facts right though… Lexes never claimed 3 seconds 0-60 and those dials are exclusive to the LC500.

absolutely beautiful car.... I looked at this when I was in the market 2 yrs ago and cross shopped with an R8, a BMW M8 2dr, and a most recent model Aston Martin DB9.2.... ended up with the Aston but I was very impressed by the Lexus- great vid!

Mike, where are you getting your information about the LC, 0 to 60. Lexus, never stated 0 to 60 in 3 seconds. I have one, and I love it just the way it is as a luxury cruiser, it’s not a sport car; however, the rear seats are for storage only 😂.

I seriously thought of one between Vettes; gorgeous, luxurious and very well equipped but at the end of the day I needed a SPORTS CAR, not a super cruiser. Very tempting car, if I could only have one car, it would be on my short list

I share the excitement. I've owned my LC500 for four years now and simply cannot part with it. They truly are amazing vehicles, dare I say one of the best and I have owned over 100 vehicles (currently have 8). They check so many boxes and are a beautiful balance of aesthetics, comfort, reliability, usability, power, and uniqueness. It's the first car I've had I can do a 2600-mile road trip to Carweek in and have no qualms about driving more. I should also mentioned the typical 30-33mpgs out of the 471hp N/A V8 on road trips is unheard of. I love my current Ferrari, but this car gets more compliments, ironically. Thanks for the review!

This car is a compromise of reliability, ultra comfort and luxury, and performance. A buyer of this car values their money, but also likes the finer things in life without having to have break neck speed performance. Pure joy of driving and feeling good doing it. If you want absolute madness, just buy a BMW or some other higher performance car. Well done with this review!

This is weird that I stumbled on this video. I recently purchased this exact car that you reviewed from LW. It now has 300 more miles. Went out of my way buying out of state to get this color combo.

I have this in Infrared with the performance package and a few other one-off carbon goodies, absolutely love it.

I have a white one same year in a coupe. I absolutely love it. Iam considering the armytrix exhaust but wondering if it’s really worth it for a 5 grand upgrade. These cars will probably become highly sought after in the future considering the Lexus bulletproof reliability and that incredible sound. Thanks for the video!
