I used to be addicted to THC, currently recovering It’s been hard bc i kinda just went cold turkey with it, and i’m constantly thinking about buying more. even today i was just thinking about how good of a high i could get bc i haven’t smoked in awhile. and while what i have is probably easier than nicotine addiction, you can get addicted to anything. as someone who has seriously tried to quit nicotine, but has failed. it becomes a no longer enjoyable thing. here’s my thought process on it, when you start you get lightheaded and it feels cool for a second, then you do it more frequently in hopes you get that lightheaded sensation again, and then you put it down because it seems very pointless, then as time goes on you think about that feeling, and then you it occurs you could get that same feeling because you haven’t used it in a while, so you do it again, and the cycle continues. (i watched the rest of this video and the guy joe’s watching goes over this so now i feel like typing that was pointless.)

I used to pop pills and got addicted to it, I was overdosing left and right. Got into legal trouble and now I have to stay sober and now I have nearly 2 years clean from narcotics. I use nicotine as a sorta coping mechanism when I want to feel something or my anxiety kicks in or wtv tf. Nowadays I don’t get anything out of my vape, I can’t go literally 5 minutes without hitting my vape and I even wake up from sleep randomly throughout the night just to hit a few blinkers and go back to sleep. I am so deep in the addiction to nicotine but it is one of the biggest factors in keeping me away from narcotics. It’s sad frl

In Australia where I live, vaping has become such a common Alene t among teens and even kids that you can find functional vapes on the ground or in bins or bushes all over my town and most other towns/city’s in the country

I used to vape and eventually quit months later after realizing how it changed my activity in training and my everyday life. Definitely not worth vaping even if you think nothing has happened. Because something has and you just don’t know it until you do your usual. It was tough quitting, but it is 100% possible.

It’s definitely causes an extremely comforting buzz and is an intense habit forming addiction.

Most of my friends vape, drink and smoke weed + hit bongs and I’m like “yeah, so cool that your lungs won’t work in about 10 years :)” P.S they are underage, I’m 16 and the friends are like 15-17 they all do that shit, I appreciate my parents telling me not to do stupid shit cause 99% of their parents know and don’t care. Some of them even supply their kids with it. Plus three of the kids in my class almost died after getting high as shit on weed and shrooms at a party then driving home. Main dude has a neck brace + scars and burn marks on his head like 4 months later but he still does the same shit. So do the other two.

With nicotine, you get a placebo but somewhat not placebo effect of feeling aware. Then, your body was gonna like it. So, even if you don't like it, your body wants it. So you do it again. And it's gonna repeat that, and eventually, your body is gonna slowly require it. At first it won't be huge, you'll probably be just a little tired maybe. But at one point, your body will be very dependent on the point you can't function without. You get upset easily, can't focus, tired, mad, angry. And to quit it straight up, just gone, cold turkey, the withdrawal is gonna be crazy. It's gonna eat at you, and it's gonna suck every day. But its gonna get easier, every day. You just got to do it, every day.

I've tried vaping for like a month, and apparently it was 50% nic or something and people said it was a lot, but it was nothing I don't really see the appeal, the clouds are cool to look at and it smells nice, but it doesn't do anything, couldn't even build an addiction, I'm not the addictive type but still, and when it would die people would tweeker rig it by taking it apart and cutting up a phone charger to get a few more puffs, looks like a tiny bomb, they are literally everywhere, and since it's illegal in Cali for flavored ones or something like that, people just bought as many as they could before they stopped selling them and sell them for probably triple the price, or they switched to wax pens wich is objectively worse.

I’ve also been using snus for the last few months but I will quit tomorrow to focus on preparing for my exams

I spent about 42dollars for 2vape boxes and they have about 400 puffs in them the most I spend is like 60 dollars for 3Nd it usually last for a week and a half then I have to buy more

if you find yourself that far in try and limit yourself. i’m not saying quit cause i hit nic too, but maybe try and get down to one a week and then slowly one every two weeks, so you don’t necessarily have to quit but it’s slightly less harmful. simply the amount you do is overly dangerous

As a heavy smoker, Nico vaping has definitely taken that place. But I feel better for it. Had my first durry when I was 13, 33 now. Stopped a few times for prolonged periods of time

I genuinely use vaping as a way to quit smoking. I'm pretty young so most people assume I started for the pleasure, which sucks. Planning on quitting vaping as well through nicotine reduction.

I knew someone at my highschool who vaped. He leant it to another kid one day and I guess he used the last of it up without telling him. When he realized his vape was empty he decided to fight him 💀💀💀
