Funfact: Drain Fafnir design was originally base from the first layer Valtryek. Which is why its has three contacts points on the part of its dragon heads and the rubbers as a main hits.

That's very true considering that some beyblades from the burst series are going to be 10 years old next year. People out of the burst generation was the worst one out there.

I like how this short began by asking if you remember this bey and pretty much ends with "you definitely remember this bey"

I wished I could somehow still find drain Fafnir for a good price these days

Well...... L-Drago is basically the inspiration of Longinus and Fafnir. L-Drago was left spinning atk type which would be Longinus and had a spin stealing feature which was used on Fafnir sooooo, ya know 😂

I’ll never forget free using his launcher for the first time. Such a unique mechanic too. Nothing break had me hype af when he used it. Straight up clowned his opponents for most of evolution. Drain fafnir is my favorite bey. I wish I could get a takara tomy one. Unfortunately I didn’t have a job back when evolution/god was out so I never got my hands on an authentic takara tomy drain fafnir. With so many fakes out there it’s hard to find one in the wild and even if I do it will probably be expensive af. So I’ll probably never get my hands on one😔

Ryuga does a hand spin too, tho he does it against multiple bladers at the same time, but the metal saga was basically a different genre with how explosive it got

Giving a Stamina type a spin stealing ability was a big brain move for Takara Tomy.

The Nothing driver actually shows its feature more prominently with Mirage

Fafnir is personally my 3rd favorite bey/bey series in all of beyblade burst, only 3rd to Achilles and Lucius. Fafnir has such a simple yet genius idea, and the way it’s used is amazing to me. It doesn’t feel like the user is just trying to max out stats and power through, the bey is more carefully handled to maximize its potential. In fact, the slo-mo burst is my favorite move in the series.

Oh is that why the move is called “Nothing break?”

Fun fact drain fafnir is the first spin steel beyblade it was meteo l drago beyblade metal

I just got the name of free cause there's a boxer named oscar de la hoya and he was called the golden boy so he might have been an inspiration for free de la hoya and the fact that he used a gold-ish beyblade hammers the nail for me

Spin Steal in Burst is basically the same thing as the Tier 0 in YuGiOh
