Optimal strategy here was selling the lynx, buying rooster, buff rooster with panda. Rooster gets to 50/50 from the panda and has utility, caterpillar gets to 50/50, plus 30/30 bison

I love listening to NL play SAP because I have absolutely no idea what's going on and it just sounds like he's an incredibly stressed out farmer feeding his animals chocolate and milk

5:35 I don't get why the idea of selling his Frilled Dragon just literally never crossed his mind. It's is extremely obvious it is the right choice to sell for the Lion and keep the extra scaling from 2 dragonflies.

This Chicken was more hyped than the Popeye's Chicken Sandwich, and took even longer to be delivered, but damn if it doesn't hit different. Regardless of whether he made more mistakes than Deshaun Watson has had Masseuses' or not, Egg came through.

Him selling the level 3 frilled dragon for the hammerhead got me rolling on the floor in pain man

I think you're right to rate the frilled dragon so highly; it's insane value in the early game. However, I think you held onto the one in the first game way too long. You already had two dragonflies; dump its ass and scale a lion or a rooster.

The legendary chicken run was one of the most dramatic pieces of cinema I’ve seen all year. A rags to riches, defy the odds underdog story. An emotionally gripping tale that will leave audiences in disbelief.

It was painful watching you pass on the multiple 20/20 lionesses while going for shop scaling. Also sad that you never saw another chicken to buff the one you had.

Even if he did get it in shop he would just say "i dont need another chicken" and wouldn't even think about combining to get the buffed stats

I can't even count the amount of misplays on my hands and feet combined. Yet somehow he gets to 10, what a legendary run lol. I've had chicken/lioness runs where my entire shop is at least 40/40 and still don't get to 10 wins. Skill diff I guess.

the hyperbolic rise in funniness of the chicken run as time went on was a type of comedic efficiency rarely seen in this world.

Passing the lion for a frilled dragon made me consider becoming a serial killer

Having "legendary" in the title already implies that the run defied all logic. Typing this at the start with the assumption that NL makes mistakes that would punish most people. Yet somehow the stars align and he gets carried

I think it's more so the fact that The Chicken Run has been so hotly hyped and anticipated in livestreams, but it took so dang long for it to come out because of The Colonoscopy Backlog

I LEGIT screamed at my phone screen. Never been this frustrated

8:26 that loss isn't from the dragonfly, it's from not pivoting off of the frilled dragon/ant setup because you had a spider giving your frilled dragon a small buff, which is fine early but falls off insanely hard. Passed up a 6-6 lion like 3 rounds prior to this over the 9-9 frilled dragon (5:50). That would've been almost an exact lateral move to a unit that scales 10x better in the late game. Same goes for the Ostrich (7:45). Both the ant & the frilled dragon were kept entirely too long, that's what lost the run.

Imo keeping the ant was fine because it was a lvl3 which enabled its scaling. Replacing frilled dragon for the lvl1 lion I 110% agree with u tho.

Been waiting for this masterpiece. Absolutely did not disappoint. Reminds me of the first time NL used the lioness and kept buying all sorts of cracked out gorillas.

I'm not surprised that someone who doesn't value the can doesn't value the chicken. Literally any situation where it's possible to trade a round or 2 for chicken buffs is worth it.

Chicken is kinda a lucky pop, but when it starts popping it's basically a guaranteed win. You need the insurance to get it started, but then the shop gets big enough to replace your team, and then that holds you over for more tier 1s. Same with lioness, which I'm sad NL skippiled, but lioness is harder to get going because it's slower and appears late already so you either win before it's useful or you lose

NL's obsession with frilled dragon is killing him
