The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Review
Ойындар
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom reviewed by Tom Marks on Nintendo Switch.
This is an unfathomable sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, somehow improving upon it in nearly every way - be that with simple quality-of-life improvements, a genuinely exciting story, or wildly creative new building mechanics that make you rethink what is possible. It both revamps old ground and introduces vast new areas with an alarming number of tasks to complete, mysteries to discover, and delightful distractions to keep you from ever reaching that place you naively thought you were headed. Nintendo has followed up a triumph with a triumph, expanding and evolving a world that already felt full beyond expectation and raising the bar ever higher into the clouds.

Idk what you’re talking about? The developers made a masterpiece with what they had. This game just proves you don’t need hardware to make a great game. Those limitations are set by studios that can’t compete with Nintendo and their development team. Gameplay > graphics. This has been known. The switch isn’t holding back anyone. If it was, we wouldn’t be here discussing this 10. The creator has once said Zelda isn’t about realness to life or high res images. That’s not what Zelda is about. I’m pretty sure the dev team is more than happy with their achievement.

Games are about gameplay not only graphics and frame rate. Modern games lack substance.
The reviews of this game prove FPS doesn’t truly matter in the larger picture of things. It’s funny this game struggles with frame rate yet gets a 10/10? But if another non-Nintendo title has fps drops it’s a large game breaking problem that gets picked at. It just feels reviews are not consistent with one another and something is going on behind the curtain.

Realy now is Totk my favorite.
Looks like TOTK took a page from Castlevania SOTN with its map 🗺️ structure: taking what already exist and layering it to give it more character (rather than a flipped upside down castle, we get an underworld and sky area all still born from the original lay of the land). They’re not different worlds, but very much part of the same world with more depth and exploration.
Best thing about this game, is that your clueless wife won't even realize you bought a new game.
