OMG WTH... so... * 2nd Controller forced death "Up + A" is allowed * NO OVERWORLD kills, period * NO Heart Containers * NO Sword, No Candle -- no items of any kind EXCEPT Bombs, Arrows/Bow and Wand (and rupees / little hearts, duh) * All dungeon rooms "discovered" + must get Map, must get Compass * No special glitches, screen scrolls, stairway clips, clips of any kind Christ on a UNICYCLE that would be aggravating and difficult. Props, Lack! Props.

This is incredible to see. If you only knew how late my brother took to beat this damn game ! It kept me up at night listening to the dungeon music and Link taking damage . Lol It’s forever burned into my brain.

Is there a minimalist challenge where you only get the items necessary to beat the game? And I do mean minimalist: One sword (but first sword, as that would be the hardest way) One candle (Blue might make it tougher, since you wouldn't have unlimited fire on a screen) Bow Arrows Silver Arrows Bait Whistle Raft Step Ladder No bomb upgrades No extra hearts No mini hearts No fairies No stopwatches No glitches And for good measure, no Up+A I've done it once each time with a different candle, but I went with the Magical Sword (I skipped the first two swords). But that gave me 12 hearts, which isn't truly minimalist (I also grabbed fairies, mini hearts, stopwatches, and I think bomb upgrades). And I died--a LOT. I don't see how I could possibly pull that off with only three hearts. Nice job on all your runs.

Thanks. Low% is what you are looking for, but glitches are allowed and so is up+a. No glitches would sure be tougher!

I'm surprised you don't have to NOT get the map and compass, as I'd expect that would make it harder. I bet even many runners don't remember where every single room is--only the ones they have to go through for their category.

so if you take damage the counter resets. every 10 enemies drops a bomb if you defeat them consecutive without taking damage. so he is forcing bomb drops.

I am sorry, but if a boom can kill a blue leever, you run ended before you entered Level 9. He was hit by that bomb and would have died (again, if a bomb can indeed kill a blue leever). Sorry buddy.

@@LackAttack It's all good. It just appeared that you hit it because it turned white for 1 frame as you entered level 9. Again, I do not know off the top of my head if a bomb is powerful enough to kill a Blue Leever. But hey, great run non-the-less!

Yeah I think the smoke can hit it but not damage it. Blue leever has 4 hp and bombs do 4 dmg, so it would have made the kill sound

@@LackAttack Hey, I only wish I was a half as good as you are. The original Zelda is in my opinion the best Zelda game. It is the only one that is truly "open world" from the word GO! Even BotW you have the introductory section on the plateau.

Never mind i found the rules. That was extremely impressive. My daughter and I still play this together. She loves the "It's dangerous to go alone take this" beginning; she always makes fun of games that take 20min of cutscenes before being able to play.
