When you win try to pick the same chest that you won from on the next few rounds most likely it will have the golden rupee in it and keep doing it until he gives you a green and then load back to your last save and pick a different chest and repeat.

If you hit the chests with a sword or spear (may take several hits) if you hear one that's more solid so a lower pitched thud that's usually the one with the 300 if you bet 100

@@zekeadams5839 you could always just sit outside hyrule castle for a shortened cool down, but I always carry frost and electric weapons with me which is honestly arguably better than the master sword so its disposable to me.

I've played the game 3 times and completed all the shrines twice, and I never met this guy before!

I haven’t done all that, but I’ve beaten the game and have 100+ hours and just met him yesterday, LOL. I lost this treasure chest game something like 6+ games in a row. Never playing again.

This did not work out as smoothly for me

I sucked at this so much every single time I got one rupee XD

I have this luck ritual where I will cut down a tree until I get a stick. I then proceed to throw the stick upwards and whichever the stick picks I open that chest. Never fails me. All hail the stick

For those who said it didn’t work with them: If you choose the wrong chest, load the game and choose another chest, if it’s a wrong one too, load again and choose the third one, and if the third one is a wrong chest, load and choose the first one you chose. This worked with me (most of the times).

Darn guess I just overthink it and only get one each time going to the wrong chest without saving.

Finally I can buy arrows etc without thinking "I don't wanna waste money. From 800 to 2000 rupees in 5 min? Thanks!

I just threw a rock aimlessly and went for the first chest it touched believe it or not, I got lucky and got it every single time when playing at meh friend's house

Started with 250 rupees and ended with 2,750 in less than thirty minutes.

This did not work for me.

I got it on the first try with luck then went to check if 300 was the low ball 👁👄👁

But you can sell 10 luminous stones for 700 or one diamond for only 500. But you have to trade 10 luminous stones to get the diamond.

@@crazye1ghtz911 it's semi-random When you first walk in, save your game then do the mini game and keep reloading until you get a good rupee if you bet 100 after that keep going until you get a green rupee, once you get a green rupee reload your previous save file from when you first walked in and the pattern from before don't change, so just repeat that process basicly

But on the 3rd one I got green rupee...

Its not random goofy. You save before you start. Load if you lose or save again if youve won. Jeez, some people in these comments are so slow.

Must've patched it because I only got it to work 3 times then after that, I reset 3 times, all 3 were 1 rupee
