The Legend of Zelda 4K Lego Movie - A Link to the Brick

This is our new, exciting and epic lego movie: The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Brick. In Lego Hyrule, Zelda is painting Link in front of Hyrule Castle. Ganondorf swoops in and steals the triforce. Link calls for his horse Epona and goes on a quest to get it back. On this adventure he needs the help of the famous nintendo plumbers: the super Mario Brothers, Mario and Luigi. With the master sword and a hylian shield he battles the skeleton like stalfos and a zora. Finally he enters the dungeon andafter solving a couple of puzzles Link confronts the fire breathing three headed dragon Gleeok and Ganondorf himself in an epic final battle.
Just in time for the release of the new Nintendo Switch game Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, the prequel to Breath of the Wild.
This is our first movie that we shot in 4K resolution, we hope you enjoy all the details. Just like our previous film, we added a little nod / easter egg to the official lego movie. You can't miss it.

@@mandalorian5553 Maybe because we don't have that many subs and it's only posted a day ago, but hopefully it will pick up some speed soon. We put a lot of work into this one and we're proud of the result. As fans ourselves of the Zelda franchise we hope a lot of other fans will have the chance to enjoy it.

Nice! Liked the smoke effect in real scene, as well as integration of Mario and Luigi. One question raised when the Bros. took portions of the Triforce - with the convention of red, green, and blue colors per third of Triforce - if Mario takes red for power and Luigi takes green for courage, does that leave Link with the [non-traditional for him] blue portion representing wisdom?

Good observation about the triforce. We didn't really think this through as well as you did and just had each of them take a piece 😅, but I like your theory.

I love how you included Mario and Luigi though I wish you added a meta joke of them playing Super Mario Bros instead of Pong. But regardless awesome work dude also why hasn't Nintendo made a crossover with Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros? This HAS potential to happen!

Thanks for liking our video! Nice idea of them playing the first Super Mario Bros, but to be honest we decided on pong simply because it was easier to make with lego. A crossover would be cool but I think it should only be a nod. For example it would be a cool nod if in the next Breath of the Wild Zelda game they added a part of the world that has mushroom structures and hills like in the Mario games, but just really subtle so it fits with the Zelda esthetic. Then add a couple of villagers that look like Mario, Luigi and Peach, a couple of guys with mushroom hats to resemble the toads and you've got a nice little reference, but just for that part of the world map so it doesn't detract from the rest of the atmosphere too much. Maybe add in a little sidequest where Link has to retrieve some kind of star looking item for them.

Great movie it evokes the childlike imagination the people are needing right now and it is great! But I have one question…why is ganondorf a orc?

Thanks! Ganondorf is an orc because we couldn't find a more suitable lego head that was a) green and b) kinda mean looking. So we decided that an orc head with an elfish hairdo painted red would hopefully do the trick. Untill lego decides to make official sets we unfortunately have to improvise.

5:10 isn’t that dragon a rip off Lego King Ghidorah made around the time of Godzilla King of the monsters?
Yknow you can get better custom made Mario amd luigi figures... right? I have them and they look super official and super polished.

@@skeletonking27 Ganon was difficult to do. Hopefully lego will produce official sets some day. For the next zelda lego movie we have planned link is going to explore a lava cave where he faces off with a different kind of enemy. Maybe in the far future ganon will emerge from the rubble of his dungeon. We only saw him being buried, we never actually saw him die ;-)

Thanks for the compliment! Ganon was made by combining one of the elf figures from lord of the rings with an orc from the same series. The cape, body and legs plus hairpiece (which we painted red) are from the elf figure and the arms and head are from the orc. The Zelda and Link figures are bootlegs.

Ganon is custom made, the others are bootleg figures which you can find on the well known shopping websites from Asia ;-)
