But the problem is it won't stop just here, it will keep "learning" and will eventually veer off into it's OWN thing once it becomes self-aware. All we're doing right now is just feeding it information, of all our favourite, beloved, nostalgic things and it's "serving" us, like a Google search engine, calculating every bit of "Data" you give it, then it throws it all together, in a rather consistent way. But wait until it's truly starts "thinking" for itself, and making it's OWN "choices" and Decisions. We're all content and having fun with it now, but i can see what's lurking round the corner regards this A.I.

You may be able to do so in a few years. Sooner or later there will be AI video filters that accomplish something like that on the fly on PCs. Then some people will make sure that they work well with Zelda being played in an emulator. Later you may even be able to buy a screen with built-in AI filter functionality (primarily intended for upscaling) and just connect it to a Switch.

It's not hard to project in the future a couple of years, and whole films might be created with this kind of technology. Currently, I don't think the results are consistent enough at all for anything but stringing together 1-2 second clips, like you'd have in a trailer, but once they sort consistency over time, it'll be a done deal. Very nice aesthetic and designs, btw.

You really seem to appreciate the classic movies you're referencing here, I definitely feel that. And you've done it with modern tech in what I'd say is a pretty appropriate usecase. But man would I love to see the real deal, warts and all. No CG whatsoever. Have the cutting edge facilitate the traditional crafts, giving the new more material. that's the perfect scenario IMO
