It looks like the little Tri-Force things behind Tri are how many Echoes you can have at a time, which will really help make it less overpowered

not number of echoes but echo power, some echoes cost more than one triangle power, that redead was like 4 triangles. You clearly level up and get more total triangle power to let you summon more/bigger things.

@@paperluigi6132 Maybe a little bit surprisingly, they kept the same subtitle for the JP version. So, the title is just マリオ＆ルイージＲＰＧ　ブラザーシップ(Mario & Luigi RPG Brothership).

16:56 I am so glad someone besides me is hype! Every reaction I see to this announcement is indifferent. I absolutely loved this game! I am just so surprised that Nintendo got this game to run on the Switch. I know it is just a port, but how are they not overheating the system? I mean those graphics alone would make the Switch work overtime.

You definitely need to play Metroid Prime! (Also 2 and 3, fingers crossed we still get the remasters) They are all so damn good and 4 looks so incredible. Can't wait! Just so happy to see it :)

And it's not remotely accurate too if you're being serious (which I know some are), since it's still the primary story revolving around Zelda, her royal family, her castle, her land and herself. that's why these enemies are attacking in every Zelda game ever, they don't attack or try to capture Link, they don't form their army's for Links sake, they do it because of Zelda's Legacy, her legend and her royal history. It'll always be that way through and through no matter if one is playing as Link, Zelda or any other point of views, because the reasoning and end goal for the enemies/evil forces are always after Zelda and the Royal Family and of the history and legacy it all holds.

This is by far my favorite reaction video to the direct that I've seen. You guys are awesome.

Zelda gets a game for herself the same year Peach gets another game, I love it!

In regards to Mario & Luigi and AlphaDream, yes the company went down but Nintendo (as they often do) swooped in and rehired most of the staff and funneled them into various studios both in-house and from their associates (Monolithsoft, Intelligent Systems & Next Level Games mostly). So yeah, most of the OG creators still probably either worked on it or were in reach to ask advice on what to do.

On a positive note, totally agree that this was a great Nintendo direct. Lots of things to be excited before. This was also a great reminder why I don't typically watch reaction videos. Felix, dude, stop screaming into my ears.

I'd say this was a smashing Nintendo Direct. So many games I am stoked for. M&L Brothership, Zelda, DQ 3 2D HD, Saga Frontiers, MvC Fighter's Collections, DK C Returns, STRAY and that Final Fantasy title that was apple exclusive! So friggen awesome looking forward to more titles.

If you think it only said 2025 so they still need to announce the exact date so they can announce MP2 and 3 as a shadow drop when they release a new trailer with the date, also going for both consoles is in my opinion the smart move, not everyone will move to the switch 2 and that game was promise for the switch 1, also will show the difference in power.

@@sparkypack I think so too. But hope springs eternal. Could be a last little gift for the Switch. I think Metroid Prime 2 and 3 must come out at some point before Prime 4. Would be weird if not, but stranger things happened with Nintendo. As of WW and TP, I just don't understand why they aren't released. Switch is, and will be for quite a while the most popular console, if it's about the profit, they must release it on Switch. I don't think they're big enough titles to held them back as exclusives for the next-gen console. So, not releasing them doesn't make much sense for me.

Ok so, tje zelda copy power, looks like the amount of triangles behing tri, decrease depending on the amount needes in the item, the fish cost 2 triangles so 2 decreased from the tri tail

Part of me wishes Nintendo would just make a new traditional Zelda with mega dungeons, new and classic items, keys, and interconnected puzzle design. Instead, we’re getting beds and tables instead of a hookshot. I really hope Nintendo doesn’t step away from the original formula too much. There's nothing wrong with it; the original formula is still very strong and has a lot of potential.

I have a Mario and Luigi that came with my 3DS XL and HATED it, too much reading and not enough gameplay. This looks interesting. I'm a 2D Mario fan and 3D Zelda fan but that Zelda looks really good! The art style is beautiful and I love the idea of the new gameplay.

3DS Mario and Luigi games tend to be more controversial than the DS and GBA games. If you played a 3DS entry and didn't like it, you might still enjoy the new one. Dream Team specifically was infamous for tutorial after tutorial from the start of the game all the way until the credits

It's not "The Legend of Link" I know some may say it as a joke, but some are actually serious and wants it to be named Legend of Link, only one problem.. It's still ZELDA"S STORY, her history, her family, her land and her castle that is being sought after, attacked and the enemies main objective through and through, Link is just a chess piece and a loyal knight, but the cause of the battle is always about the royal family and the princess herself, that's why it'll never be called "Legend of Link" as long as the enemy forces are still after Zelda, what she holds, who she is and the royal family, then it'll always be her Legend, not Links, and since this game didn't start with any indications or sole story of Link's Legend in any sense and more about the captivity of Zelda is a significant reason behind it all, and thus Zelda taking it up upon herself to fulfill and fight it out of her own Legend this time around all with an additional purpose of course getting back her loyal knight, but is not solely based on getting Link back as the bigger troubles looms over Hyrule and her very existence that she also needs to stop.

The only announcement I'm excited for is the legend of Zelda echos of wisdom. I wish there'd be more real time strategy games the Nintendo switch online service has zero and they could add starcraft because starcraft was on the Nintendo 64.

Do wish the whole direct reaction was uploaded…never a fan of ‘highlights only’ reactions.

If Nintendo charges $60 for the DCK Returns, we will know for sure the level of their greed.

7 years and prime 4 looks like a downgrade from remastered. What happened man.......

I wish people wouldn't call this legend of Link. The Zelda in The Legend of Zelda was the Zelda from the 2nd game. That title only applied to the first two games and the title just stuck for the series. Why are people excited about playing as Zelda? This just shows that Link no longer has a purpose and is not needed. This may just be the start that leads to Link slowly being removed from his own series. The legend was a story about Zelda, but he was the hero of that story

Bro chill, the reason Zelda is playable in this new game is because Aounuma wanted to experiment with a new gameplay style, but if Link was the player character then players would expect his usual playstyle. Zelda has never been playable, so they were able to make any playstyle they wanted to, and it's clear they wanted to iterate on the freedom and experimentation of Tears of the Kingdom in a top-down Zelda setting. Link will be back in the next game like usual. Zelda's wand is cool and good for a one-off, but it can't prop up an entire series the way Link can with the Master Sword

@@bartsneezin You're only assuming he will be and maybe he will, but Aounuma wore a shirt with dead Link on it while he was presenting the game, what was he trying to tell us? In the game, Link just fell in a hole, he didn't die, but here in reality, the guy who controls the series is telling us he's dead. In this age where people are encouraging strong women for no benefit (since strong women have no use in society), it's possible this is just another replacement of a male character.

@@bartsneezin Zelda can definitely hold her own, she is more than just a "princess", she can fight, she can demand, she can take control, and she has more power than anyone in the land of Hyrule, including Link. Hence the sole reasoning of the evil forces attacking in the first place and why it'll always be Zelda's legend and Zelda's Legacy, never was Links to begin with by any means, he was just a chess piece and loyal knight that fights for the royal family, to safe guard their history, legacy and their princess. Not just a silly little princess with no backstory, history, or legend behind her. or else the games name "Legend of Zelda" wouldn't be made in the first place, and there are TONS of legends behind Zelda and her name alone, and with the royal family, it's why the games does extremely well telling the stories in many different points in time and different ways. It's a forever never-ending story, legend, legacy and great history of the land of Hyrule and the princess that rules over it all and her and her family stories that can be told for many years to come. Let alone if and when we get a mainline Zelda game with Zelda as the playable character can open up so many possibilities and would be amazing if it went that direction in the future.

Not a fan of the graphics style. Its like cell shaded, but not? Not feeling it at all.

Switch 2 launch title Metroid Prime 4. Great call there. Hopefully we’ll be catching up a bit in performance and resolution on Switch2. I really hope it launches with an OLED version.
