Melon, you awesome bastard, listen, I get I'm minor in the grand scheme here being too broke to properly support as I wish I could, but there has been a new Yu-Gi-Oh abridged for like a couple months or so now, I've mentioned on a video or two but I get it I get lost in the maelstrom but please i wanna rewatch. Said episode but I have a strict code of honor, since you started the series, and I started watching all ur stuff on multiple channels ect, I've watched new episodes Only Once, and waited to watch them the second time with You. Ya gotta watch it already so I can see it again, and clearly I gotta see you react to it. Although I'm guessing at this point much like me you wont remember crap from the last time cause I sure don't! Also ur awesome, rock on regardless.

I absolutely love the fact that Korra has grown so much throughout the series. She started out wanting to solve every single problem head on before she saw the big picture, with violence usually. Now she tries to resolve things first through negotiations and mediation. She isn’t just the avatar, she’s a Jedi.

I actually put some of the blame for the current state on Suyin. In season three she called having a queen archaic. The queen is dead, chaos is sweeping the continent, and she chose to do nothing in her secure bubble. Here, we are shown the other world leaders offered her the chance to lead and could have done anything. Could have brought peace then, ended the monarchy, established individual states, then stepped down. What did the other leaders do? They chose a royal buffoon to carry on the monarchy as a puppet government. It’s hypocritical to refuse to lead then disapprove of who else was chosen. I don’t like Kuvira’s tactics, but she’s not completely wrong.

That's exactly what Zaheer was afraid of though as well. That world leaders would lead to incredibly bad things. Including Kuvira and her tactics. (glad we see Zaheer again as well and he explains things well to Korra)

That's the best part of Korra: none of the villains are "wrong." They go too far, and their goals are tainted by selfish desire, but beliefs are still based in something good. They're all well-intentioned extremists.

Kuvira, maybe more than any other of the previous villains, is in fact a pretty good person.. but she's blinded, much like the others. She's proven she's not a horrible and bad person in the previous season.. it's just that her views have become warped by hate and extremes. And now she represents the bad side of control, just like Zaheer represented the bad side of too much freedom. :( It's still nice Korra wanted to reason with her though. Also cool in general having a first main female villain/antagonist.

Varrick deserves better 😂

Korra is a good show, it surprises in terms of animation, but it is years away from making me feel the emotion that I felt watching ATLA. I think that having been written in the WOKE era of super-empowered women greatly affected its development, in the end half of the public who saw the show loves it and the other half doesn't like it, it's sad it could have been a good thing.

This is when the season fails. Kuvira is bad because she does "bad" things. As opposed to the alternative of a posh useless little prince that is like 20th in line for the throne because everyone else died. The earth kingdom was in shambles before. Its impossible to fix everything and be nice and perfect right away but at least she's doing something. The "good" guys are basically just saying she's doing bad things while trying to fix the kingdom. But they're not doing sht at all just letting it remain in squalor. There's zero nuance. But at least the fights are cool.
