I think such decent language comes across partly because of the good manners of the actor and partly due to the manners of the interviewer. These days actors are interviewed by the likes of Karan Johar who encourage more loose talk.

Abe chutiyaa hindi bhasha ke film me urdu bhaasha ka kyaa jaroorat hai.us jamaane me ek blind belief huvaa kartaa thaa ki hindi film me kaam karne ke liye urdu fluent honaa jaroori hai.lekin aaj ke samajdaar actoro ne ye rules ko thod diyaa.yahee sahee hai hindi bhashaa ke film me urdu ki kyaa jaroorat hai?hindi ke beech me urdu ko kyon mix kare?kyaa hindi ke khud ka astitva nahee hai?ye toh aise ho gayaa ki kannada bhaashaa ke film me jabardasti hindi ghusaane ki jaise.kyon ?apane puraane aadte choodo aur nayee aadate apnaavo!kyaa farakh padtaa hai?har bhaasha apne aap me powerful hai.bas use upayog (istemaal)karnewaale chaahiye!

Dr Ghanekar was a great actor no doubt....bt thinking Dr Lagoo as just his competition is sheer ignorance...people like Dr lagoo, Vijay tendulkar who were exposed to world theatre changed marathi theatre forever.These people experimented and reformed marathi theatre that stood the test of time...no doubt Dr Lagoo is a natasamrat ie king of acting perhaps the finest india has evr produced

I watched Pinzra (Pinjra). I became a big fan if his. It is one of the best Indian movies I have ever seen in my life. I am a Saryupareen (from Uttar Pradesh) living in Mumbai and have immense respect for Marathi but Hindi as a second language gets the entire country connected together. No one in India speaks Hindi as a native language. Hindi is a second language to every one even in North India. This video is an example how Hindi can be used to connect. The pronunciations and the choice of words if Dr. Saaheb were fantastic.

I would recommend you to watch sinhasan too. It was a 1980 movie but still looks contemporary even after 42 years. Especially it felt relevant in these 4-5 years with the political scenario in maharashtra
