She’s been carrying our country’s flag high for so long and continues to do so! In the excitement of this new generation, she’s not gotten the appreciation she deserves. Congratulations on the result, akka!

Thank you for this❤ I was waiting for her interview, she is an absolute legend inspiring lots of girls in India to play chess and even at this age she is still brilliant She is quite underappreciated, even after getting a silver medal. I hope India will do even better in women's chess in future

One thing i liked about all indian chess candidates was that if u see before tournament and during tournament they were all focused and olaying it as an individual event which us absolute necessity bcoz there is chance of having bias against own countrymen and thus not being able to convert against them but everyone was playing for themselves which helped everyone to perform better but at the end of the tournament everyone was happywith each others success and thats what the spirit of game is ❤❤❤

Congratulations to her for coming 2nd. 🌷 She and Gukesh 👑 both are Telugu people , proud of them. 😊✌️Hope she can win more in future. It sounds like Hampy ‘s focus is on balancing family ( kids) and professional life more than anything else . She is married into a business family so money is not a factor I think.

Same question. I am more confused because Vaishali won more matches so it makes no sense if she is at the 4th position with same points. It's my first time following a chess tournament so I don't know much about it.
