OJ damaged whatever legacy he had from his early days all by himself. His kids are forever damaged by his actions.

OJ just put an acting job on the glove. That was pathetic. The totality of the evidence and his prior beatings of Nicole, and the way in which she was almost decapitated, means he almost certainly did it. Robert Blake, and Phil Spector, were the same. Led the league in rushing at age 29. Injured and missed seven games at age 30 and... that was it, the tank was empty--bone dry. That was when 49ers GM Joe Thomas acquired him for five high draft picks. The legacy: running backs are done at age 30, religiously observed by GMs to this day. GMs, like Joe Thomas, who act otherwise are also done in the NFL.

I love the Juice, he was an inspiration to me.
On July 30, 1993, eleven months before the famous double murder, Ron Goldman's friend Brett Cantor was killed with a knife in a manner identical to Ron and Nicole: from behind and across the throat and stabbed repeatedly on the arms and chest. Michael Nigg, a waiter at the Mezzaluna Trattoria in Brentwood.(Its location on San Vicente Boulevard is now a Peet's Coffee and Tea shop.) (where Ron Goldman was also a waiter) was shot in the head and killed. Another Mezzaluna waiter barely survived a car bombing. Many working at Mezzaluna were involved with the Mafia and/or the drug trade.
