Since you didn’t make any progress this vid (lol) I really recommend getting the latest update before the next video. It has a lot of quality of life changes and fixes a VERY SIGNIFICANT bug. I don’t think it would be fair to show off the mod in an unpatched version.

From episode 3 onwards we will be using the patched v1.1 of Legacy, so that way the series will avoid the trophy room bug and show off the mod in a more proper state for what is likely to be a longer series with all the content in Legacy.

Something very important to note just to be sure, the mod received an update on christmas day, and that requires a new save file to work properly, as the mod had a huge bug where trophies would not properly feed into the trophy room, making it impossible to complete your trophy room without doing it in a specific way.

Starting from episode 3 the Legacy series will be using the patched version of the mod. The first episodes don't have much done so it's not a big reset for needing to swap to the v1.1 of Carnivores Legacy.

Definitely the best mod of the year, so many cool additions and behaviors added to the animals in this mod.

I recently just started watching yours videos and I really like them. This mod is so cool and I can’t wait to see that trophy room full!!!

The shotgun from C1 always fired one shot. It uses slugs instead of buckshot like the ones from C2 and IA

15:29 There's a high-pitched noise in the background, like a small animal call. It's the exact sound used for the Macterra Grabbers in Deep Rock Galactic. I don't know anything about this game so I'm not sure if it's a mod for this game or if the sound is based on something in real life and was applied to DRG.

Imagine eomeone adding Godzilla into carnivores at an accurate size, it would probably crash the game...

I think the closest we might get to that in Carnivores is the Gojirasaurus from Triassic and to be honest Godzilla doesn't feel fitting in a Carnivores mod at its size as nothing a single human could possibly bring up against it would honestly do little more than annoy the king of the monsters lol

Do I need to buy the game in order to have the mod?

There isn't really any way to buy Carnivores as far as I'm aware but the mods are all standalone so you can just download them and play.
