I wonder what the marriage rate is, or the divorce rate with these folks. It's been 8 years now.

I dont see anything wrong with this. Lots of people are "elitist" in different ways. I wouldnt fit in with any of these people either in dating or friendship and they wouldnt fit in my life . Why waste anyones time?

interesting... It's probably not any less superficial than any other app, but I doubt gold diggers would easily get in. Both sides need to be vetted, so it's equally prohibitive.... I suppose.

These woman are very similar looking besides the obvious characteristics like hair color.

I get what it’s try to do but I liked what the matchmaker guy said where the person in front of you could be the person for you but we are so engrossed in our phones that we don’t see. I’m a millennial and I met my boyfriend randomly at a party and I can just tell you there is nothing like it. He isn’t even exactly my type but when I was talking him stood out. If I had done a dating app like this I would never of met him but 6 years later we are still together, living together. We are actually 2 very ambitious people. You can use the app but leave some room to meet someone you wouldn’t expect. Sometimes being with someone who is toooo much like you can close you off from things you may not of even thought of

+LoneSock _ why? nowhere in the app is there questions about financial status. There's education, which is what people who use it mainly care about I think. As a college grad myself, it may seem pretty bad to say, but I'd prefer finding someone with similar educational background.

Well these men pretentious or not elitist or not these men on these apps aren't flat out rude! Even if they think a woman's not their cup of tea they'll never flat out say "bleach your skin. Or you have to have sex with me." These guys actually have standards and they actually want to meet someone their equal. Someone who's successful and someone they can relate to on a personal level. There's nothing wrong with that. It can't be elitist if someone worked hard to get to where they are. It might be elitist if they're like "who's your parents. What's your pedigree."

I feel like this would be okay if it didn't focus on looks as well. Personally, I want to meet someone who is as ambitious and successful as I am, but I am hardly concerned with how good looking they are. What about the highly ambitious, successful people who aren't gorgeous?

Embem Schüpp but others might think otherwise, that why there's NYC and LA, Delta vs United, Pepsi vs coke etc. I think there's nothing bad about people prefer to date someone who's also attractive to them on top of many other things. If that make me shallow to included physical attractiveness into what I look for from my significant other then I wouldn't want to be high.
