The Laundry - Steve Treviño - Til Death

Комедия

The laundry. It's a constant struggle. Well according to my wife, Captain Evil, it is. I don't get it. We live in a world with modern conveniences and laundry isn't something you need to complain about anymore. At least when you're the cause of all the laundry. I hardly have any.

The real issue with the laundry is folding, hanging and sorting everything back to where it belongs, and men know this!!

Hahahaha Gee... I've been a single parent for 6 years and I do it all apart from changing light globes because I can't reach. My Dad comes around and changes the light globes for me. I do laundry, ironing, folding and putting away. I wash my car inside and out. I clean out my garage and sweep it every 6 months. I clean my home every week, I do shopping, I cook, I look after a little person, I pay the bills and..... I take out the trash. Tell your wife, I wouldn't be complaining about laundry if I were her 🤣

adzhan ariff What a romantic story to tell your children. Adzhan: I was heading out to work one morning, when I was a young man, when I heard singing from a nearby by river. The song, back in those days, was Beyoncé’s Put a ring on it or one of those. Children: Go on, dad. Adzhan: You don’t know children, back in those days, your mum could really sing. I followed her voice and there she was, washing clothes by the river, with all her friends, singing. My heart was stolen. Wife: When my friends and I looked up, we saw one guy running from the bushes, as we had surprised him. A few days later, that same guy returned to apologise and ask me out. Fifteen years later...here we are..

Yeah we still do the laundry by hand here at our house.. and we live up in the hills so it's cold.. but no hot water and the best is when you've got to wash bed sheets, quilts and blankets by hand.. no dry cleaning in this part of the world.. you don't know what a workout is if you haven't rinsed-soaped-soaked-scrubbed(with a brush as well)-rinsed-wrung-rinsed-wrung-second soaped-scrubed-rinsed-wrung-rinsed-wrung-rinsed-wrung! And you should try lifting a wool quilt or a mink blanket that's soaking wet..it magically weights 50 times heavier.. imagine repeatedly lifting it out of the water nd plonking it back into the bucket over nd over just to rinse it once! Yeah all you developed country people with your washers and dryers don't have the slightest inkling of what a pain doing laundry can actually be SMH

My mom sounds like your wife about the laundry. Seriously, it's not a big of deal. Literally, why complain about the laundry when it is a simple thing to do. I agree with you it's not that complicated but some women like to make things more complicated when it comes to washing clothes. I am like you except I seperate jeans but everything else as one. I don't have time sort out the colors from the whites unless a color shirt bleeds. Then that is different. 2 loads I do that is it. Question: does your wife leave folded laundry around the house expecting others to put it away for her? I mean I see laundry in the living room, kitchen table, and upstairs hallway... Most of it is hers. I don't get it... My mom leaves it every where. I don't know. Maybe it's just my mom. It can be sitting there for weeks.
