Hello, from the video (at 2:24) looks like you’ll need to go to the green ticketing machine and click the JR Pass option, which will allow you to reserve tickets using your JR pass. The cost of the ticket is covered in the JR pass so you shouldn’t have to pay anything extra. I’m travelling to Kansai Airport in late September and have been researching the ticket booking process haha, hope this helps!

Sept 5 11:30pm from Vancouver BC I would like to purchase Haruka Express tickets from Kyoto to Kansai Airport in late Oct. can I buy the tickets a few days in advance at the Kyoto station? I am reading that one way tickets can only be purchased on the day if travel.
