A resident writes: @luchacefox259 24 minutes ago I live in Ruidoso downs and I'm here right now typing this on my front porch. I ignored evacuation notices, and I'm glad I did. So many lies right now from the Man. Allow me to set things straight. Both fires are dead out 100%. If I dumped gasoline on my yard and set it on fire it would be out in 3 minutes. The ground is wet. There is zero flooding, it's totally BS. It was an average summer monsoon rain storm. Like half an inch over 6 hours. Absolutely nothing here is in danger from fire or floods at this point (Friday night). The feds are the real issue they have blockaded the city from the outside world and won't let anyone come back to there houses despite the total lack of danger. Animals are straving to death city wide. The fires are also highly suspicious and have been lied about many times. They claimed it was lighting first but there was not a single cloud for 200 miles the day they started.

I have been planning on moving to New Mexico for a few years now I was wondering if I should reconsider or if it really is being overblown or if it seems deliberate in any way? I'm not worried about wild fires or anything like that I Worked the Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak Fires in Las Vegas NM and just wanted to see what sets this apart besides the number of damage involved
