● In today's video you'll see, what I believe is, one of the coolest Supercars of the last decade, the De Tomaso P72. Only 72 units of the P72 will ever be made, however, De Tomaso has currently produced only 9 prototypes of this incredible car.

it's a shame that they don't keep the v12 in the production version, what an insane sound. But it is understandable because V12s may have gone against the V8 heritage of the older De Tomasos

Probably the test mule for P900 - confirmed to have that exact V12... Maybe even coming a V12 version of P72 but in limited quantitym not more than 25 cars I'd suggest Also that silver car looks more than P900 test mule with no extended aero

@@bits2646 Huh, I'd read that P900 would be powered by a completely bespoke V12 - a 6.2L unit that revs up to 12300 rpm.

@@Kyuzeth yes it is !
From the Hot Rod chop at lower RPM to the screaming F1 sound track at higher revs (especially under load), this thing sounds INCREDIBLE. And damn,, the looks are wild too, exterior is beautiful, but especially that interior is something else. This car was barely on my radar compared to some of the other boutique supercars coming out, but I'll be damned if this isn't up there with GMA's and Pagani's newest offerings

He loves his job you can tell
Sounds more F1 than current F1
Wow, one of the most beautiful cars in existence in my opinion. I’d take this car over well, just about anything. Thanks for sharing.
V12 Ferrari from the F140 family, same as the Ferrari F12 TDF
Such a sonorous V12 note, and yet, it maintains something of a snarl as it rises in pitch - exactly what I miss in, say, T.50's note. This note's got more 'body' to it, almost like a high-pitched roar rather than a scream. Sorry for waxing lyrical; I just love the sound of this thing. Great job, DeTomaso! Thank you for the footage as always, NM. Great stuff.
This is the most beautiful car ever made, and it's not even close.
What an engine that is the sound a battery powered car can never emulate ! 🙏🏻🏴👏👏👏👏👏

this is the equivalent of the Huayra R in the sounddepartment, absolutely insane
Utterly beautiful to look at and listen to 🤩
Beautiful car! One of these and an Alfa 8C. 👍
That looks and sounds ridiculously amazing.
O design desse carro é um tapa na cara da atualidade! Lindo, magnífico e que ronco

Something of the "old" Ferrari P4 also... 😏😉‼️💯🛢️🔥🏎️🏁🤓🇨🇵
Argentina Power, orgullo latinoamericano si me lo permiten. Argentino primero si, pero de todos nosotros también 👍🏻
Definitely get you in the front row at the local cars and coffee.
What a machine, and what a noise!
Hermoso auto 🇦🇷🇮🇹
Sounds and looks like a dream. I really hope DeTomaso comes back with hypercars like this and some series production rival to the Boxster and A110 (and name it Vallelunga)
That thing looks like Speed Racers Mach 5 and Pagani had a love child.
That literally makes the hair stand up on my arms, not joking.
I love it
goodjob🤟😎🚗💨💥
tea is so cool Exhaust sound... it rings!! lol very~F1same.
The last? I guess I missed the first, but what a shame, sounds incredible
nice, it looks like the FZR2000 from NFS ii
Is it a v12 or the judd v10 that they also use? Either way sounds amazing
God it sounds like an old Zonda. Fantastic
Holy moly! Raddist Car ever I think.
V12 an humans heritage. Nothing to add
Looks like somebody got quite of inspiration (if not all) from a Ferrari 330 P4
damn this car has a trumpet exhaust
This car would look so much better without those “fangs” up front and just an open oval. Still amazing but that’s my personal preference.
Sounds like a pagani motor??
So why isn't v12 an option anymore? Is it f'in emissions? Why not test with v8 now?
😍😍👌
😍😍😍💪💪💪
What will the production car have for the engine?

700bhp Roush-tuned supercharged Ford V8
I want this model added to Forza Horizon 4!
Hi
Honestly, yes it sound unique. But it kinda sounds like a really angry trumpet or musquito not necesarily good like a v12 ferari or pagani imo

This is Not V12 is a V8 coyote by mustang the sound is by the position of the motor in the chassi

This is an early prototype and has a heavily modified Ferrari derived F140 V12 same in the Apollo IE, Customer cars are the ones that will have the 5.0 coyote, its a shame that it will only have a V8 in production form.
I would hate that transmission noise to be honest, that engine sounds way good though.
How can a v12 sound more like a v10
Ah...she is cutier than my girlfriend ❤😘
I used to love that car but now I just realize it’s obsolete due to electric cars
homework copy from pagani?
sounds like the kid on the bike coming out the garage with an trompet
Might be the last P72 ever...didnt Norman Choi get exposed? last I heard DeTomaso went bust. Would be reealll shame
V12 AMG, not Ferrari or Lamborghini 😭😭😭😭😭
@rai2u

It's not from AMG, it's a heavily modified Ferrari derived F140 V12, the same used in the Apollo IE. the starter motor alone at 0:13,0:26 is the same with current Ferrari's with the F140 family V12's.
This is a 5.0L TWIN-TURBOCHARGED V12 engine making the most loudest supercar & it so amazing car De Tomaso P72 😎🤟

Not at all. This is the same engine as in the Apollo IE : a 6.3 liters naturally aspired V12.
This car design (and sound) isn't inspired by Pagani. Nope, not at all. xD
