Great video
Great documentary of the Atherton Station!
Atherton is not quite the community that welcomes visitors by train… because trains brings the public. The city doesn’t even want to build housing because they crave the exclusivity and rising home values. Population will likely cease to grow in any significant capacity thus ridership will likely never grow as well.
My home station. Grew up on 5th Ave in Redwood City. Closer to my house than R.C. station. Like Buckingham & NIcks (Menlo -Atherton High) song Never Going Back Again.
so sad what's going happen to the train station ? 😢🚉

Rich people don't use public transit much.
