To know you're dying at 41 is crazy. I was a huge fan of his playing. He was a big drinker like all Finns and died of liver disease, but was it established that it was the booze that killed him?

@@paulbooth77 The autopsy was released awhile after Alexis died and it said that Alexi's cause of death was "alcohol-induced degeneration of the liver and pancreas connective tissue”. Saying goodbuy until we die too, is too much...one of the worst and the most saddest thing in decades... Take the angels care of your eternal sleep...see you in the Heaven, at least I hope, my beautiful schredding angel!! Anyway, Daniel is a very great guy! During recording of Hexed, Alexi was pissed off cos he made a mistake of the singing part!! Alexi said: Fuck, fuck, cant believe it!! Daniel told him: Calm down, Alexi calm down, it's not a problem, it's okay!! Everyone makes mistakes! Alexi said angrily: No, its not okay!! First it shows; how much Daniels take care about Alexi's soul and himself!! Second it shows Alexi's attitude; how much he wanted everything to be perfect!! I think he was a perfectionist!! So no wonder at all that all of the stress which was all upon him, drove him into alcoholism!! He was a special talent, but he could do almost everything for the band: composing the songs all the time, writing the lyrics, after taking over the process from the thought to the fulfillment, then playing the hardest parts and solos and carry on with singing part too, meanwhile or after that endless concerts and gigs on and on!!! And yeah, he chose this lifestyle, but no one ever took his burdens off and it's too much!! It was too much for him!! But now the beast can finally rest!! Sadily we will be here for a while without him!! Someday i promise, i'll go to your grave to Finnland to say a last goodbye!!!

I might be the only one but i didnt like the interviewer. As someone who alexi was my idol growing up and still is today. there was muched looked over with his family, how the bodom family are. previous recordings etc. i really feel for them, they are my family too. some of the questions asked were just.... i guess too soon, "whats the future of bodom" cmon man, really ? bodom just died with alexi. pay your respects. no ones ready to move on yet. i love you all. sleep well, drink well, live well

He was way better than Randy Rhodes.....not to disrespect RR. Alexi was so unique in his playing/songwriting.
