This is a moment we SHOULD be united. NO one deserves to go through moments like this. I do not care your personal opinions on specific religions, because in moments like this they do not matter. My own personal opinions on specific religions do not matter. I'm not Islamic nor really religious in any context and no I'm not a huge fan of Islam. But I'd never judge people because of it. I would damnwell hug every single one of those people and do whatever I could possibly do to help. I am Australian, and the fact that it was a fellow Australian who committed this atrocity, absolutely sickens me to the lowest depths possible and words cannot describe how ashamed I feel having any connection at all, even it being a country, to such a monsterous person.

It's called haka it is traditional dance done by the native maori tribe of new Zealand it's is used in a variety of fesvals. There were several haka performances to show solidarity with the muslims. The dance mayatola seem odd to us but it is their way of showing respect.

May Allah give the best way to all of the victims. I can't forget that tragedy of Christchurch Mosque, Watching live on facebook was break my heart & tears. After that, i realized tht i had a nightmare watching shooter & people died in my dream before that friday. It makes me so sad & i cried with down face at tht time. Pleasee people out there ! Islam is not a terrorist, please stop making us like an animal & cartoon.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I have a question, I watched the video on the day of the massacre, in one scene a girl is shot while leaving the mosque, she screams "help me" repeatedly, the gun man walks up to her looks around before shooting her then running the car over her, my question is, why are they no picture of her in the gallery of the 51 victims? Surely she did not survive that? Look at the pictures and check for yourself, her picture is missing, as the only females on the chart are elder, while she looked no older than 20,

I watched it too. But her voice sounded old though. And she surely died because when he shot her, her hair flew up from most likely a headshot.

in the mosque or just in public, in the mosque nobody was armed because its a place of worship and in I dont know any carry laws in NZ

actually, people did show up with their firearms. in the initial reports, it said four people had been arrested for the shooting. two of the people arrested were civilians who heard the gunfire, and grabbed their own guns to try and take down the shooter. gun laws are very different in NZ than they are in the US, and guns are a lot less common. the people in the mosques didn't have weapons because it was a place of worship. the attack also happened very quickly. he was in Al Noore for a few minutes before moving to Linwood. there wasn't much time for people to step in and stop him.
