I very much disagree with the comment about the bow being counter productive. It’s an amazing stealth weapon usable at both short and long range. Also there’s a chance to reuse arrows when picking them off of dead bodies. It is probably the most versatile weapons in the game. This is coming from someone who’s replayed the game on grounded difficulty many times.

You encounter them mostly in the sewer after Joel split with Ellie and Henry and the part where you split with Ellie too in the hotel after the drop of the elevator. They like to stick in darkness so we barely seeing them. That's why we met mostly runners.

The Last of Us is my favorite game of all time. I’m a man and it’s very difficult to make me cry....yet I sobbed my eyes out at least 8 times though-out. I was sort of shocked at how the game effected me emotionally. Brilliant story, incredible characters, awesome action! Naughty Dog has proved that a totally linear game can still be great if you do it right.

I recently finished it on grounded and it really makes you heart jump with the encounters.

I have never played this game, but reading the comments i think is about time i buy it and give it a try, i like games like God of War, Dantes Inferno, Ninja Gaiden, and games on that line, but i’ll give this one a try 👍🏼🍺

The walking dead never made me cry, when bought the laat of us, one of my friend who already beat the game told me this one will definitly make you weep atleast once, I thought hes bluffing and shortly after I had the game and Sara's death made me cry and still does...i also saw the making and its sad to see the girl who played sara was later crying on set so was troy baker.

I’m gonna be honest I felt the walking dead had a much better story I cared about lee and clementine more than Joel and Ellie. The walking dead is one of the few game series to make me cry and to be honest I didn’t find a single moment in last of us even relatively sad because I don’t care about the characters who are dying in last of us

There are moments in The walking dead Serie where i cried. But i have never played the game

I don't play too many games but I thought I'd give this a try. My initial thoughts are there are far too many buttons to press. I just can't remember all the combinations. Secondly, I seem to be wandering around aimlessly not knowing what to do.

This only game I beat in 2 sitting played 15 hrs went sleep woke up played about another 5 or 6 n beat it my brother been waiting to ply the ps3 happy till I started over on harder difficulty n played about another ten hrs I’m scared replay it cuz I don’t wanna ruin the nostalgia

This guy did not play the game on grounded, the bow is the ONLY weapon of choice.

Believe it or not, I bought this game in 2015 (initial hype in 2013 put me off) and finished it just today for the first time. 24 hours 17 mins, 18 deaths and 75% accuracy on normal. It was interesting. Plot is quite simple but character development was deep as in some JRPG. Wouldn't rate it as my No. 1 on PS3 (that spot goes to Uncharted 2) but it is definitely in TOP 3.

I played this game for the first time during the Covid pandemic, boy did I miss a trick not playing this when it came out. Having just played & loved part 2, The Last OF Us is one of if not the most entertaining games I’ve ever played & the storyline is just jaw dropping.

This is one of the best games in gaming history and not many are this good but the 5 best game in my eyes are. 1 metal gear solid 1 2 the last of us 3 uncharted 4 dead space 5 grand theft auto San Andreas These are all great games but I am a massive fan of ace combat games I love to put that first but it not as popular as the 5 above.

Best gta game in terms of content but last of us and uncharted no way man you clearly don t play many Japanese games the only jap game in your list is metalgear solid 1 But You don t have MGS 3 snake eater in that Top? The fact that you don t have a single JRPG, ARPG, 1st person shooter in that list or strategy game says a lot about your taste.

I wouldn’t say its one of the best games. It had a lot of missed opportunity. For example they could’ve expanded the multiplayer more with an infected game mode or something instead of the just the left behind dlc and a few maps. I bought the season pass back in the day and felt cheated. I liked it, but overall it felt like it had a lot of missed potential which would have made it one of the greatest games of all time.

After the last of us 2 scandal youtube channels are trying to remind us that we should buy it because the first one was great and the way I see it thats a twisted logic

This game was complete garbage when it came out and still is It's a good example of the influence the game journals once had. Clunky controls, horrible combat system, repetitive environments, brain dead puzzles, and a shallow overrated story. The story to this game was nothing profound nor were the characters very likeable. If I remember correctly is around the time the journalist slammed New Vegas but claimed that Two Worlds 2 was "An excellent adventure game". I have no personal vendetta about this game, played it expecting the best, and have no problem if others like it. It was simply an objectively a bad game. Even the vast majority of gamers on the forums at the time concurred. Media hyped this game in a time when they had sway. One of the many reasons we don't trust them anymore. For what it's worth I thought the beginning scene was done very well though.

Yeah, the story was great, but about halfway through, I got bored by the gameplay. But I wanted to see how the story ended, so I forced myself to play it to the end. If it wasn't for the amazing story, I wonder if it would get so much praise. Same with the Uncharted games, remove the exciting story and great acting, and what you are left with, are a pretty so-so game, with mediocre gunplay. I hope we get a major gameplay evolution in the next generation, and not just better graphics and more cinematics.

That’s literally the point of them though. That’s like saying “if it weren’t for the unreal overworld, breath of the wild wouldn’t be praised as much”. Obviously not, but that’s what makes it so good, the story. That’s why the game gets praise, just how doom has unreal gun play, and animal crossing is chill af. But I do get what you mean, I didn’t mind the gameplay in number 1, but the gameplay def looks like it has been majorly improved in TLOU2.

@@jacobfroese3485 It wasn't. Going prone was the only really good addition. Jumping/platforming was barely ever needed and the rope was hardly used and never able to be used in combat/stealth which was really after disappointing after Unch 4.

@Serial Killa My favorite game of all time is 2000 Deus Ex. Others are Hitman Contracts and Blood Money, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Portal 2, Prince of Persia Trilogy, Splinter Cell 1 - 3, Thief Deadly Shadows, Dead Space 1, Mafia 1 and Chronclines of Riddick. Best games of this generation for me are God of War (2018) and Doom (2016). I really love the story and characters in TLoU, but otherwise I dont think the game is great in anything else. Gameplay is very repetetive and dull, AI of enemies is awfully stupid, many scripted actions that are repeated endlessly etc. And bugs, I was suprised that there was so many of them in a game that is so praised for graphics and technical stuff (I think i got one or two bugs from TLoU uploaded on my channel if you wanna see it, but I encountered many more of them). For me TLoU is a 7/10, without the story it would be 4/10. :P Of course that is just my opinion, all opinions I state are mine, no need to say IMO every time. :D BTW, sorry for bad grammar or english.

You are right but they could figure out something else. Don’t get me wrong I love the game too. I just don’t like (so called) critics that exaggerate small details, good or bad.

Last of Us Factions Multiplayer is the best multiplayer shooting game ever.

Too bad every single multiplayer shooter is garbage with no exception, Last of Us included

This makes me so sad, i completed tlou 3 times but now they messed up the second game.
