@@bretbret8293 Yes because GOTY means something. This was the most disappointing game in my opinion. I had such high hopes for it. The narrative is absolute dogshit. The gameplay was fun and one of the best experiences I’ve had. The graphics look beautiful and environments are all stunning. But the story is absolute trash. Final Opinion: Ghost Of Tsushima is better.

Samantha Clyde I was so excited at the thought of it being The Last Of Us 2 and that's honestly what my mind went to the moment I saw the trees. However I really didn't think Naughty Dog would reveal it this soon after U4 and I also thought it'd be saved for E3. I didn't want to say what I first thought it was because in my mind I was thinking "I'm going to look like such an idiot if this turns out not to be The Last Of Us 2" haha

This was a pretty brilliant stroke for them to reveal it at PSX. Major publishers are moving away from E3 quite rapidly so it would only make sense for Sony to as well... How do you fully cement the event you run as being more important than E3? Reveal the biggest frigging game you could possibly reveal.

I think that Joel in this song was the soul of Joel becouse Ellie said “im gonna find and kill every last of them” and remember that Joel dies in TLOF2 and Ellie wants to avange Joel

what if the game just plays like if Joel is alive but in fact his has died And she has made this Joel in her head as her conscious and is the reason she is seeking to kill all the firefly's. but the game leads you to believe his alive until the end where it reveals that his dead and we get to play as Joel in the reveal of how he died not only learning why and when he died but experience the pain and suffering that drove Ellie crazy for she has lost the only one who ever stayed by her side. just my mind running wild with idea's.

When I realize that the real hype from the audience was caused by NaughtyDog...... Ya freaking genius...

This is my interpretation of the trailer: Ellie has learned what happened in reality at the end of the Last Of Us 1, and want revenge for almost dying from the Firefly group. She decided to go to to a firefly camp to kill everyone. After she was done, she saw a guitar and started playing it. Joel is older now, and slowly got his way there to persuade Ellie to not turn into a mass murderer.

Could be that last line referring to Ellie taking vengance on a group after Joels death? "If the first game's core and the theme was about the love between these two characters and how we built that through story, music, interaction, gameplay, mechanics... This story [TLOU2] is the counter of that, this story is about hate and how we use all those same things to make the player feel that through Ellie this time. First game is like, you play as Joel, this game you're playing as Ellie." Devs said this after the teaser dropped so you're probably half right.

Fluffy Bunny Well perhaps try to understand the theories. Ellie's saying weird things, and it does sound like she isn't speaking to Joel at the end. She doesn't even look at him in the eye when he comes in, and they never show his face. This is all speculation, no one's saying that it's fact. However I would be glad to have Joel back either way.

Joel is dead. That's why they don't show his face and the blood drop running down her face symbolises a tear drop because of Joels's death. Also maybe that's why she wants vengeance against the people that probably killed Joel.

Clark Kent I had the same theory I even went as far to say that that's probably his body in front of her and she's playing a song he liked, but I don't think she would hallucinate him looking around looking at the dead body's.
