All footage for both games was captured on PlaySation 5 and the rendering mode was in Fidelity Mode. I think the textures and models look better in Part I, however Part II’s animations are superior. This is because Part I was rebuilt for PS5, while Part II was just remastered, but the motion capture of Part I was still the original of the PS3 version, it was certainly “enhanced”, but Part II has the better technology.

@@Gabriel-Tár there are some worse technology in part 2 like when glass is shattered it disappears pretty fast unlike part 1 where stuff break and stay there most of the time also theirs mores more effects like the grass burning in part 1

They are made on the same engine and on the same console, they look the same, Part 1 looked better than PS4's Tlou 2, but now there is no difference because the PS5 version no longer has limitations.

Wonder why they changed what side the door knob is on at the end of that hallway in the salt lake hospital

@@henrihai1940lol no they’re not. The lighting is a bit better, but the remaster probably added the lighting from pt1. Water is absolutely not the same, while still fantastic in pt 2, and character fidelity is higher in pt1. Stop bullshitting.

So the first game looks better than the second game that it's built off of and also better than the second game built off of itself, with knowledge and assets to draw from both games. I really don't see why these comments aren't self aware enough to see the bias at play.

Tlou part II definitely looks better in level design since part 1 levels are from PS3 game version

Im playing them both at the same time and broooo, youtube doesent really show how absurd the difference is, even in 4K, running both games natively is another story, part 1 is absolutely better in fidelity and performance mode, but part 1 weapons look like shit in joels hands, part 2 weapons look amazing, thats the only better thing i notice in part 2
