Those military guys caught up with us." Tess: "No way..." *[Tess and Joel walk to back stage window; military team walks behind set]* Joel: "Yeah way... how do they even know we're here?? Aww they all seem so happy. I hope nothing bad happens in the show.

The way they've all got that canned "say cheese" smile going on, can't help but crack up laughing. So very 80's, early 90's. As a dude in my 30s, I wasn't really old enough to understand the 80's, but the early and mid 90s was my childhood. Saturday morning cartoons, Nintendo, Michael Jordan, Nickelodeon in it's PRIME... good times.

Funny how it ended up saving his life

I love how everyone's just smiling for some reason I fail to comprehend, other than this being a sitcom.

Infected was my favorite character. Loved his development arc.

That final image of Bil and Frank warmed my heart

A postapocalyptic sitcom would be hilarious, cast by Charlie Sheen as Frank (0:41) and Bill Murray doing cameos from time to time. They would always kill the same infected zombie called Spencer as a recurrent gag in each episode (like Kenny in South Park). In the end they would adopt Spencer as a pet-zombie. In one episode the child Sarah (0:24) would try to teach him how to play chess

maybe as the show progresses it gets darker and darker, like in the first episode they replace sarah’s death with her having a nerf gun fight with a friendly fedra officer after that she suddenly disappears, then a few episodes later they show what really happened to her.

Dude the make up on the infected was so good - such an underrated show

I gotta say, casting Mr. Feeney as a FEDRA soldier was a bold choice

*Joel and Ellie enter a room and they see an infected eating a dead guy on a sofa* *audience cheer and applause* - Look Joel, that infected probably snuck up on that unsuspecting man and killed him in his sleep! - You sure that's not my mother in law? *audience laughs*

these kinds of videos have given us this fever dream esq look into an alternative timeline where everything was made 40years before we got it and our brains recognize characters but the shows don't exist but we can see them so clearly in our minds

There was one other sitcom that took place after the end of the world (this one happens after a nuclear war) called "Woops!". I kid you not. As you can imagine, it didn't last long. But seeing them trying to make a lighthearted comedy (it wasn't even a dark comedy) out of such a dark premise was bizarre. Even more bizarre was that it even made it to air in the first place.
