Sir..for last 5 years..every night i watch this ..i take an oath to get out of this addiction..but i fail ....its 4.40 here in india...i havent sept yet.and may be for 1500 th time i heard it.i am a film scorer myself. Highly influenced by james horner .and harry gregson Williams...but this one piece beats everything..how well travor jones has successfully blendes a celtic tune 'the gael' by duggy mclearn with an aincent native American tune..its just great..i have hear both the compositions separately countless time..but this merger stands out ❤🙏🇮🇳

such a haunting song and film.my dad loved this film. he died aged 86 and we played this tune at his funeral. he was the last of his people to die. so to us, he was the last beautiful Mohican xxxx

Realmente es una version modernizada de una primera pelicula con el mismo nombre y mismo guion de los años 60, pero ésta más moderna ganó un 50% mas por ésta magistral banda sonora que hizo que el film fuera epico. Hay que añadir que tanto en el vestuario como en los lugares donde filmaron mejoraban una barbaridad la primera pelicula.

Don't ask me the number of times that I have seen this movie, for it is countless. One of my favorite movies. Good story , outstanding acting by Daniel de lewis, brilliant cinematography and brilliant background score. A movie which should never be missed.

Simply a beautiful piece of music from Scotland , yes the tune is Scottish .

Poignant. Soul-stirring. Powerful. Heart-wrenching. I have listened to this song 100, 150 times and never fail to shed tears.

Native Americans were pretty savage......I'm British so might be biased, but relatively speaking for a powerful people of the time we were reasonable and civilized generally.....if any amerindians had had same level of power, they would have made the Nazis look like a bunch of hippies!

The sacrifice of Duncan is considered "obsolete" nowadays... What a brave action to save somrbody's life!!!

My very most epic cinematic movie I've ever watch. This was released worldwide, 3 decades ago if I recalled, it was in the year 1992. I think I was in my First year H.S. This movie was a blockbuster before the Mel Gibson's, "BraveHeart". All was an epic movies If I remembered..

What a master piece of music and film! I love it. The last of great warriors. Europeans have exterminated all native peoples and grasped their land, their gold , their everything.

What i really love about this movie was the villain that did his role so amazing..

I have watched the movie 4 times. Love the sound track and The Gael.

Incredible when the violin chorus kicks in.....takes you back to 18th century Britain and the early settlers in usa, and then you have that epic, melancholy music combined with that beautiful, wild landscape......it's just a masterpiece. Takes you right back to that time!!

One of the best movies i have seen in my entire life and, maybe so it could have been, THEN, when the last of them were gone...

Had watched this movie first in the 1990s ... still watching this movie and listening to its music as it touches the soul in so many ways ... was reminded of this movie during my visit to Australia and New Zealand on seeing the natives there ... living disenfranchised and shunned to the fringes in society .... really such movies as historical documents that should be a recommended watch in high schools everywhere ...

The Novel was wonderful, still in my memory.......
