The Fault In Our Stars, Snowden, The Spectacular Now, Adrift, great performance from her. People trashing her as an actress because of the Divergent sequels when it wasn't exactly her fault. She did her best, I can tell, the Divergent sequels was poorly written and had a flat direction. Blame the writer and director, not Shailene

Most shows/movies that are based on books tend to do this as there is a large portion of the audience that already knows the story but probably still looks forward to seeing it in live action.

From the trailer it feels like the cast should all swap roles... Like Joe suits the lover more than the abusive husband look wise and vice versa for the other guy. Shailene also suits reporter more than old English aristocrat. Interesting choices

I remember reading this book for the first time and just thinking how heartbreakingly beautiful it was. This is one of Jojo Moyes’ masterpieces and I hope the movie makes me feel the same way.

They can’t put Joe Alwyn in this and NOT play Illicit Affairs✋

I looked at this film with admiration. It is about the duality of love. The replica of the characters are so poetic. It is love seen in the mirror. Love means time, we know which, unfortunately, we cannot buy it. Netflix should show us as many films of this kind as possible, because these films contain the fragrance of the past era.🍃

Shailene is a big letter writer herself and this role so perfect for her and she plays amazingly.

I randomly clicked this trailer because why not? And i was shocked when i saw joe alwyn, i did not know! Definitely gonna watch this.

Just watched this movie last night. ABSOLUTELY ADORED IT and cannot recommend it enough if you are a romantic movie kind of person. Similar storyline to “The Notebook” and “Love Rosie” if you’ve seen these, but definitely with its own unique take!

Just watched the movie and I'm happy and pained at the same time 😪 Beautiful movie, Shailene and Callum, with their letters.

Netflix trailers remind me of my teacher asking me to summarize an entire book on one page.

Never has a trailer of a movie made me cry until today. I must watch this.

Just watched this tonight. Outstanding film. Exceptionally well-written.

Everyone keeps saying "ivy", "exile" or "illicit affairs" should be one of the OST of the movie but what abt "tolerate it"..!!?? I think "tolerate it" will fit the story too

At first I wasn't going to watch it..being a Netflix original...but the I couldn't stop..Oh my God, what a beautiful movie . With all crimes, fulgarity is hoping on on TV this is a breath of fresh air full of beautiful scenery, emotions, wonderful actors...And the voice of Cullum Turner..come with me darling...isn't it the most touching making British accent amazingly beautiful voice....Best romantic movie for decades.. I never saw Turner before but I hope he will have a great carrier. All actors are great. I wish we have move films like this and less horrors, murders and deranged stories... Huge thanks to creators, writer, producer..

This movie was so good omg- & literally Shailene’s acting was ON POINT here ; she was really being her character - as this feminine wholehearted American young woman

Just finished watching this one yesterday. And I have one thought: They wrote letters and at the end they’re united no matter what. It’s indeed true love. Nowadays when we have all the technology, we don’t even want to send those kind messages to our family, friends, lover, instead of we using the social media for bullying and spreading hatred. So sad but that’s damn true.

I watched this movie because of Callum Turner.. great casting... i love how the lead (woodley and callum) looked so immersed with their characters... i felt the passion, longings and frustrations.. i need to see another callum movie👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The book was superb and I am so excited to see it. I hope they make her book “The Girl You Left Behind” a movie as well.

This movie made me watch it comfortably and without thinking at first, but from the middle, it got me hooked at a breakneck speed. And they began to convey with great passion and sincerity the indescribable feelings contained in their letters. It made it a time that was more heartbreaking and tickling than a situation where great events were waiting.

This is kind of like the movie Letters to Juliet.
