Hopefully this is available digitally in the Canadian platforms. Or some "regular edition" physical is available to order. Had a look at the US link and well 80$ with shipping is a bit hefty for a movie, no matter how awesome it look. I don't really care steal books and i don't own a TV that has the UHD benefit. So a regular bluray would do it totally fine for me.

BENG! The return of the 80's and 90's. You can feel the emotions and vibe of VHS tapes, great music by Paul Hertzog ("Kickboxer", "Bloodsport"), a great song by Stan Bush. I repeated this song over 10 times from the middle of the trailer and had tears in my eyes. It goes to the heart and touches the soul. It's great that after so many years we can also see the legends of martial arts cinema on screen. Cynthia is still beautiful, Matthias is still dangerous, Qissi is respectable, McKinney is still in great shape and of course Master Billy... I felt like I was watching "Showdown". So many emotions and what fights! Viking Samurai, this helicopter kick is an instant classic. David Yeung is a great reference to "Bloodsport" - what charisma! Choreography in the style of the 80s, here everything is as it should be. Respect to Sean David Lowe, director Ross W. Clarkson and everyone who put their hearts into this film. I'm looking forward to the mediabook. To the fans - I advise you to hurry, these are collector's editions for people who love this genre and want to go back to their childhood. I'm waiting for the next films, the martial arts community is huge and "The Last Kumite" is proof. I believe deep in my heart that this will not be the last kumite.

This is the stuff that makes you remember better days wheb we use to head down to Blockbuster Video's or other local video stores. Pickup a video case, spend 2mins looking at the front and back of the thumbnails, before doing the same thing to another dozen video cases. Every Friday or Saturday nights me my sister and uncle would go to out local video store and rent out about 3 or 4 videos. As a big fan of 80s, 90s kung fu films, we would rent 2 kung fu films, a horror film, and a random lucky pick. Like maybe some of key sci-fi film, or action like an arnold or sly film. Good old days.

Where is Van Damme? You can't make a movie like this, and not have Van Damme in It.

I want to see this for the old school legends from back in the day. It would've really added to the movie if they had colour graded it in the 80's style, because, it just feels way too modern & doesn't have a throwback feel. Still worth the watch though.
