The last kilometer - La Flèche Wallonne 2017

La Flèche Wallonne is one of the highlights of the cycling season. The race is part of the Ardennes classics with the Amstel Gold Race and Liège-Bastogne-Liège. The 17th of April 2017, La Flèche starts from Binche and arrives on the famous "Mur de Huy" after 200,5 kilometers of riding.

    Valverde... He's something else... With that shape he may even can win the Tour... Martin come back strong but wasn't well placed. And what a ride by Gaudu, huge talent here.

    Tout le monde s'en fout, mais l'évidence finit toujours par faire place à l'admiration des uns et des autres pour ces légendes d'un cyclisme qui semble, au fil des scandales, renaitre de ses cendres. J'aime beaucoup le cyclisme, je le pratique de manière régulière, et je n'ai jamais eu l'ambition d'en faire ma profession. Mais lorsque j'entends qu'un champion de ma région (de triathlon) à refuser d'entrer chez AG2R, je comprends que ce milieu n'est fait que pour ceux qui passe la vitesse supérieure. Pourtant, le champion dont je parle possédait une VO2max de plus de 80 ml/mn/kg, et je me dis si même lui se faisait lâcher, je n'envisage même pas l'avenir dans un tel milieu, autre qu'un avenir accompagné de diverses substances... Concernant Froome, c'est évident, mais l'avenir révèlera oui ou non ce qu'il a fait.
